Clynn, Love the deer story, sweet face! LOL!!! Our internet gave us trouble today, lost connection several times. This happened three years ago when Pine had another fire go near their area. Payson connects with the fiber optic cable that runs from the valley up through Strawberry/Pine etc. Our Town Council is working to get a contract to connect to the east instead. I can't stop watching Hellgate, an osprey was on Iris's Dead Tree most of the day. So someone from the family is still here. Finn, Antali and Sum-eh have not returned to the nest.

Karen Yes, the backfires seem to be working. Our HOA does a yearly Fire Alert program in the spring with Tonto National Forest. So we have a prep bag, and know which roads we are to use when we evacuate... .. sorry your 96% humidity is awful, UGH!
