Lani, here we are, September already, time flies by so quickly! The weather will start cooling down this month... I love Autumn but not so much what follows. We will wait for Spring and another year will be rushing by. Hope all is well in your home!

Lisa, my Siamese cats Max and Emma (before Harley and Honey) did not tear up things like furniture and blinds. But Harley is something else!  And I think he is teaching Sam and Sophie how to get into mischief!

CLYNN  Blazing red into Sept.     I have clear plastic around and on my furniture now with this kitty.   I have two "towers" and scratching "pad" but if she had her druthers it would be the furniture...Beautiful pic of the Norths.  Would be a great notecard.

One wading a Fall meadow finds on all sides   
The Queen Anne’s Lace lying like lilies
On water; it glides
So from the walker, it turns
Dry grass to a lake, as the slightest shade of you   
Valleys my mind in fabulous blue Lucernes.

The beautiful changes as a forest is changed   
By a chameleon’s tuning his skin to it;   
As a mantis, arranged
On a green leaf, grows
Into it, makes the leaf leafier, and proves   
Any greenness is deeper than anyone knows.

Your hands hold roses always in a way that says   
They are not only yours; the beautiful changes   
In such kind ways,   
Wishing ever to sunder
Things and things’ selves for a second finding, to lose   
For a moment all that it touches back to wonder.

Phyl, great morning pictures! I love fall! Beautiful poem for today! Chipmunks! We have a couple of resident families here, along with the squirrels! Both are well at home with the bird feeders! That and the birds are my 'Cat TV'!

tsk, what a sweet video from jaspurr! I was hoping mama duck would go after the one that went over, she was just waiting to see if he was safe. Amazing how quickly they all got together after the jump! I wonder how someone would be there at the right place and the right time to catch that on video! Amazing!

TFT wanders towards TF early in the morning! The winds are favorable and the chicks are both practicing their wing exercises. TF goes to the right and out of view - TFT then will take some hops and get both paddles off the ground! Whew!! TFT will hop over TF's nest in his practice session before heading back over to his nest area.

TF will hear and see LGL arrive so he heads over to her wheeing excitingly. For the next several minutes, TF and LGL are out of cam view but we hear TF's begging wheeing and know that he is getting fed. Then LGL walks in front of the cam. She stops and sniff at TF's nest picking up his scent. TF follows her wheeing. After a few minutes, TF returns to his nest. ♥ Thank you for watching!

Good Afternoon  Beakers!     Bl, have you caught any waleye!  Great in a frying pan!  My patents used
To portage somewhere in the north, muskie fishing!   I was about 2 and stayed with my grandmother somewhere up there where there was a lot of sand!   Later to Northern Wisconsin.   I wanted to become a nurse and work at the hospital in Phelps!  It was in a wooden house.   My mom did not think that was a good plan as she did not think I would like many aspects of nursing and also did not think I would like the winter!   Mothers are smart!
