Phyl- Hope you are feeling better tonight and that Maggie let you get some good rest. :-*   Thank you for all the Eclipse info!

Clynn - Hope Ed is feeling a lil better now. :)   Safe travels when you leave on the 13th to go see your Mom.  So no one will be going with you?  Okay, just read that you will be driving by yourself.  Take your time and be safe.

Hi Tsk!

LisaG - Were you able to give Sydney her Easter basket?  Bet she was so happy!

Kb - That is a beautiful GS pup!!

Lani- Nice gift box from Mike's boss for the Eclipse! ;D 8)   Weigh day for TF and TFT! They have gained! :)

Tig - Good day to get stuff done! :)

Hi DeborahG!

Hi Og  :)

Baz, Lori, BL, Puff, Karen  :)

Had a nice day with my mom; picked her up at 9:30 this morning, then drove her to see her SIL (about a 35 min drive).  Her SIL recently went into a 'rest' home.  After we left, we picked up some lunch and went home.  Then I got busy to catch up on a few things around home.

Beakers have a good night.

This gal/guy is so dang cute, I'd have trouble training it...I'd be too busy smiling and laughing at it to be the alpha dog!

Kb, awww look at those ears and paws.  :-*

Puppy sure is sweet looking - To who does it belong?  KP?  Lani?

{{{Puff}}} How I wish this precious pup belonged to me! But, I'm sure Sadie would have it!  ;D

I checked in on the nests this morning - Sometimes it just ain't easy being an eagle.   :(

What would really be great is a weekend stay at the Big Sur Lodge.

IMHO because I've done both - There's a lot of mention about the Cliffs of Moher/Ring of Kerry sights down the west coast of Ireland.  It is a must ride when you're there.  But - #1 has got to be Big Sur and the PCH/Pacific Coast Highway.

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, I have always wondered how far the North Nest is from Decorah! This isn't the first time there was a good bit of snow at North and none in Decorah! Wonder how many eggs Mother Goose at N1 is brooding, I bet Lisa knows! Iris should be arriving soon, I hope this year is good...

BL, thanks for the Santana...smooth...

E4E, I was looking up some more pictures of Big Sur Lodge and there was a warning that it is not accessible from Highway 1 due to a 'slip-out'! It is a beautiful place, would love to go there!

oldguy, outstanding stats on the game! We only had snow for about an hour yesterday, sunshine in the afternoon.

tsk, I bet Caitlin will be on the Wheaties box soon! Did you get much snow yesterday? TWC says possible snow showers this morning but I don't think so, it's 36 but it's windy, as usual!

Lisa, so you also wonder about the North snow, Decorah no snow phenomenon. I think it just means the North nest is not as close as we think, doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things!

karen, I hope the storm went tight over you with no issues! Piper still okay?

Good Morning Everyone....

Currently: 45F cloudy , scattered light  rain showers, High  55F light rain,  Low 42F

I did get some extra sleep  yesterday...and felt  a bit better for it. But still 'broken' sleep pattern. My ears really hurt, sore throat no better, may have to go to a clinic for some help.  LOL I sound so squeaky / raspy ... usually just 'ride out' most 'stuff' and let the body heal on it's own.  :(  not so this time.
Everyone thanks for the 'Get Well' wishes.
When I'm feeling bad Maggie is no bother. Cat's purrs are
healing. Cats cuddle with humans when they know they are ill.
As long as she stays away from my face-- ;)
The eclipse info I had it ready to post ahead of time .
Back to bed I'll go...

Quickly:
CLynn glad there's some eye improvement; safe travels to your mom's as you drive solo

Lani  nice idea from Mike's boss w/ the eclipse

Karen/Piper be safe w/storms

KB cute G. Shepherd puppy

Prayers for: Our friend and ally the Nation of Israel and peace for her people. Laken Riley, all those like her and family; Eaglesrock . All abandoned, abused  cats and feral cats; The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . The Beakroom and Cheers.

GOOD MORNING

OLDGUY   I did see that Hy-Vee cereal when searching  LOLOL

KAREN   Hope you are not getting storms as bad as predicted as I type this.

EAGLES  Nice day with Mom.  Gives Sis a break too.  ;) ;)

PUFF  Agree about PCH.  But drive it south to north  LOLOL   Think I heard part of the hwy was closed due to mudslide?

CLYNN  Love the farmhouse window  ;D  We have a little rain/snow mix going on right now and supposedly all day.     I don't know how far the city limits of Decorah go...  Imagined the North nest closer to Mn border?   34 degrees heading to 38  Burrr   Upper Iowa river is beautiful.

(((PHYL)))   I was hoping that the stick dance wouldn't knock D17 unconscious . :o :o   Funny how D17 played with the "stick" - wrestling with it  LOL  pygmy owl - so cute

Good Morning!  Hopefully we have dodged a bullet here!   Dark as pitch with rain for a few more hours but not windy!  Tornado watch until 1 pm!  Piper got up, went outside and came right back in, saying it was nasty out there and is now sound asleep.   Weather just said, showers will end later this morning bring in cooler and drier air!   Have not cancelled tornado watch. Tho!  Think I heard there was a lot of damage in Louisville and Ohio!  Wish there was a magic trick to fix climate change!   Even more troubling in an El Nino year!

Good Morning Beakers

Snowing here again this morning - some accumulation on roofs and cars - slight bit on grass.  This is still the back side of yesterday's storm - expecting to end this afternoon with a high of 40.  Gradual increase in highs this week, with 60s by Mon. and partly cloudy for eclipse time.

The North nest is about 10 to 15 miles to the NNE of the Hatchery.

Here is a report on the PCH from yesterday...
