HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Also the beginning of Lent  Ash Wednesday.

LANI   So sorry about your migraine.  I can't imagine what that is like.  Glad you are both better today  :-*   Cute good night kitty  ;D

CLYNN   LOL  I usually forget my phone has a flashlight...  So funny.  I'm a Total cereal eater and toss in some Fiber One.  Alternate with oatmeal, eggs, Trader Joes multigrain toaster waffles  ;) ;) ;)    Visited Deadwood in the '60s when family was on a camping trip.  Your comparison is fun to look at.

KB  Isn't blue usually snow?  Boy the east coast got slammed.

Me, too Clynn  Had to get on I55 and early into Chicago (beat the rush crowd) until 1994.  Old habit still.  Habit even continued with Ashley - She used to be first up for feeding in early morning.  Neither one of us ever retooled hours when I retired teaching.  Yesterday even worse; had early meeting at 7a.m.  Left at 6:30.  Don't even know the how or why but I woke up at 4:30.  Good sleep last night though.

Looks like you'll tack on another 2-4" _ 5" Max by Thursday am.

What a difference a year makes.  90.3" for the season last winter.   ::)

We ended up with about 9" of heavy wet snow from yesterdays Nor' Easter.

Not 25 miles to the NW of us got between 13"-15".

We dodged a bullet here as the Low shifted to the NW a bit at the last minute.

A shift in the storms track of 25 to 40 miles makes a huge difference here.

Bounce

Lani ... Glad you are both better. BTW... we have adjustable Hue lighting all through the home, so we have low lighting all night. Before that, for years, we used flat plug in night lights.

Happy Valentine's Day 💕

Yup... BL... hopefully we will only get 2 to 3 inches in our neck of the woods

Happy  V  Day!   What a confusing occurrence!  A Fast day and a Feast Day occurring on the same Day!   Phyl ,wonder how often this occurs?   Thanks for the history of St. Valentines . Love those  red,  heart  shaped  boxes of  chocolates!
Puff. I worked an early shift downtown to beat the traffic on I 90. Both in the morning and afternoon but I am not a morning person!
Clynn, E 23 has grown up fast!   Hope he/she doesn’t  try to leave too soon!  I too like the osprey!  Beautiful looking birds!

Bl, take care  if you are out moving that heavy wet stuff!   Due to melt soon?   At least the garden state will have a good soaking!   Hear La Nina will soon overtake El Nino.

Lani sounds like you and Mike are back on track!   Kitties are funny creatures!  Prowl all night and  sleep all day after gettin the wait staff up at dark thirty for food and drink!   Their to ned with humans does not usually last all night.

Great long term chart BL....I didn't live here during those whoppers in the early 80's!....I love the 25 inchers or less!...
Somehow last year we did somehow recover from a mod-severe drought to just dry.
Guess we shall need some heavy rain this spring for sure.
I'll have to look up rain guestimates for El Nino years.
