STLbf this is all the info I could find on the Eagle-Palooza in the hatchery area yesterday.

Quote from: RRP
Welcome to the Eagle-Palooza! But where did all those eagles come from? Our camera operators reported three eagles this morning: HM, HD, and an unknown adult.
All three were seen perched together in a tree to the north of the hatchery
– a little unusual, but nothing we haven’t seen before…at least until about 1:50PM this afternoon, when 35 or so of their best friends showed up!

Thanks BL.  There's info on the RRP Home page this morning.  Apparently it's unusual for large groups of eagles to congregate around the Hatchery.  The camera is on Highlights so no new info as yet on their whereabouts this morning.  It's also below zero in the area today!!!    :o
Nothing's moving at the Flyway, GSB, or DNN.  Glad there are no eggs in nests yet.

HM & HD have been busy on another cold morning in Decorah.  HD was perched in the lower bluff tree, HM flew in perched for a while then headed over to the pine by pavilion.  This afternoon both are on bluff perch.

It would be so cool if a pair of those extra eagles would set up housekeeping on one of the nests with cams. I'd thought our two D eagles would but apparently not. I have nothing against the geese, but my heart is with the eagles.

A very foggy morning in Decorah, but HM & HD showed up for a bit. Both perched in the lower bluff tree, then HD flew out to tree by bridge.

A few pics from Decorah today.  HD & HM perched below the bluffs, and looks like HM high above bluff perch.

HM & HD perched together. A sub adult flew in and is perched behind some smaller branches between the two.

The same 3 BE's that was perched N of N2B, was still there this morning.  One left and headed towards the hatchery after a while.  Guessing the HM & HD has been entertaining a visitor?  ;D
