HD left lower bluff tree this morning, and HM followed a few sec later.  HM headed over to N1 above the cams in one of her favorite spots.

HM & HD were seen this morning by the bluffs, above the cams, and even in tree where they started to build a nest last season.  There was also some sub adults around this morning.

Thanks for the pics, Lisa.  I was thinking there might be more BEs than just HM and HD.  Great views from the cam ops; look on the rewind around 8:00.

Busy morning for the HM & HD, and they even showed up for Giving Tuesday!
HD spent time on lower bluff tree, while HM was on the pine by pavilion, and even fished the creek below pine pulling out a fish.

Lisa, great pics, and perfect for Giving Tuesday!

About 8:00 this morning, HM or HD caught a fish at the pond, then flew to lower bluff tree to eat it.

Not sure who this birdy was on the pine this morning, but my guess it was not HM or HD.  They were tracking and left pine, when most likely one of the Hatchery's flew by, and was escorted across Trout Run Rd, E of N2B.

HM arrived on N side perch of N1, stayed for a bit then flew out across pond to lower bluff tree.

OK - so what's happening at Hatchery nest area.  On full screen it's in a line of trees, and at least 8 pairs of eagles on various branches.  Are they showing a feed from another location?

Puff, I believe this view of where the eagles are being shown might be behind N2B, as cam op just went down the trees and I see a house below.  There is a tree line right behind the cornfield if you are standing on the trail by N2B.

I was thinking either of two spots, Lisa.  One at the hatchery; but then the second background showed a bit of a house and a silo.  Maybe the trees to the west of the hatchery.  And, did we maybe see a bit of a view of the cliff wall?

Interesting - Unusual

The one right above is the one that has a group of eagle pairs.  See the silos at the top?  Haven't seen that many in one location ever here before.  OK, I did in Alaska.

The gaggle of eagles made me think of Alaska, too!  Most seem to be adults, but there are a few younger ones.  Awesome to have so many visitors at Decorah.  I haven't figured out exactly where they are either.  Help us out, RRP!
