Beautiful sub-adult BE flew from pond area to perch near the bluff tops after noon today.

That sure was a pretty sub.

One of the Hatchery's this morning on lower bluff tree, looked like HM, and a rainbow this afternoon.

About 8:00 this morning, eagle perching at the fishing corner, possibly HM.  Flew down to the creek then disappeared for a while, then perching in trees under the power line in the same area.  Machinery noise in the background.  After noon, eagle, likely HM, perching in high bluff tree, continued machinery noise doesn't seem to disturb the eagle.

HM & HD were perched together on bluff perch this morning.  A sub adult was also around trying to fish the pond.

Great pics, Lisa.  Hope there will be video of the sub-a's adventure at the pond this morning about 8AM.  Flying around with a crow, landing in the water, fly-by from an adult BE, exploring the shore, very entertaining.  Eagle education.

Great pics, too!  That was very fun to watch this morning.  Sub must have been hungry.

Rainy morning in Decorah today, but looks like HD showed up on bluff perch.  Stayed for a while and flew out E of N2B and was next seen with HM behind the N2B area.  One flew out and the other stayed for a while.

HM and HD perched together at the fishing corner about 8:00 this morning.

Rain and wind this morning, but it did not stop HD from showing up on lower bluff tree.  He perched there for a while, before heading down to their lil fishing perch above the creek below the bluffs.  He flew out, circled over the pond and dipped down a couple times, before heading out with a fish in tow.

HD below the bluff earlier this morning.

Eagles, at least 4, involved in perching, disturbing, flying, gathering grasses around 8:30 this morning.  It's better on the rewind and will make a fun video.

HM & HD were perched below the bluffs early this morning.  HD flew out first, and HM followed a bit later.  She flew out thru the pines by hatchery office.  Both were seen on tree by farm.  Another BE flew in from the left of view above where HM was perched, stayed for a bit, then flew out in the direction it came.
