Lisa, watching the rewind around 7:30 AM, there were 2 wild turkeys, perched near each other.  One walked and one flew down from their roosts and moved away from the edge of the bluff as the camera color came on.  Then cam ops switched to BE in higher perch.  Such fun to watch all the activity.

I love seeing all the activity, too.  :)

HD was on bluff perch this morning, left there to fish the pond.  He flew to lower bluff tree, then broke off a stick, and flew over to other side of the bluffs with stick.

Lisa, Love the kingfisher!

Wonder if anyone has seen HM or HD visiting N1 since the cameras returned live?  We see them in the general area, but on this nest, or any other, like N2B or the nest they started last year in the pasture corner?

I have not seen them on nest, or any other place the cam ops has shown.

A few pics from Decorah this morning.  Hard to tell so far away, but looked like both HM & HD were around the bluff area this morning at different times.  GBH seen upstream in pines.

Wouldn't it be nice for RRP to put a camera out by the fishing corner for closer views of that bluff area?  The wish list is long!

Did you catch the raccoon foraging in the creek on the N1 side, around 8:00 this morning?  Same time as the GBH in the pine tree.

Quote from: RRP
"While HM and HD don't appear inclined to come back to N1 or to adopt N2B, we have seen them fishing the pond and carrying sticks to the east. We'll go scouting for their latest nest and for Mom and DM2 once more leaves are down".
