BL, thanks for the confirmation that there are 2 pairs of CGs at Decorah now.

Like many, I wish we had eagles to watch instead of geese, but Ma Nature decided differently.

LisaG's better nest watcher confirmation then mine !   8)    :-*

I'm semi-cool-tepid with the CG's using the area's abandoned BE nest's.

Mother Nature always rights the story we two footers watch and experience.    ;D

I still got a gut feeling that Trout Creek with it's White Sucker fish supply being bone drought dry has something to do with the BE's re-location.

I really don't think that the amount of fish that these eagles eat come from "the hatchery system" as most long time observers think.

HM and HD now reside in a nest above the Trout Run (flowing water) up on the Bluffs.   :)

It just feels so N0 coming back around right to me.

The pair of geese at N1 has 3 eggs and both parents are defending the nest and honking loudly when HM or HD perches in the branches above.

A few morning pics from Decorah - N1MG & FG on the side branch of N1, close up of FG, and from the sound of the vocals, it was very wet HM above the cams this morning.

BL - I'm sure you're right. Bob was always reminding us of the importance of suckers to the eagles.

Thanks for the heads-up about the 4th egg this morning.  I think about 10:30 AM, see pic.

LisaG is calling the parents here MG and FG, and that's fine with me, too, if it matters.

But, does that mean MG = Male Goose or Mother Goose?   :o
And is FG = Female Goose or Father Goose?   ::)

That's N1, I was talking about N2B 😉

CheeseQueen, There are no eggs on N2B this season so far.  I've been posting occasional pics from the Decorah Goose Cam,  showing geese that visit, but nothing egg-wise yet.

I call them Mother Goose(MG), and Father Goose(FG), as that is my preference.

Ok, I'm confused.... I thought the cam labeled "Decorah Eagles" was N2B, & The goose cam was N1. Guess not....  :o
