BL, thanks for the confirmation that there are 2 pairs of CGs at Decorah now. Like many, I wish we had eagles to watch instead of geese, but Ma Nature decided differently.
The pair at N1 has much more nest material to work with, mostly short fat sticks. They can cover the eggs when they leave the nest and not have to pull out their own feathers. Actually, I think it is the female that does all the incubating work, while the male only guards and protects.
