Huh'. On what map ?

I am pretty sure Trout Run flowing out of The Spring is flowing into Trout Creek.

Give me documentation of your said.

I will surely look.

I know I've seen it on a map, but most of my sources are from what you've posted in the past BL.  I've got a friend from Decorah who did the geology work for Bruhning (sp?), the local quarry company, and he verified it for me too.  He's answered all my questions about the hydrology of the area.  He was the local consultant when they did the bore-holes to map the meteor crater.  The dude knows a lot.  Former 101st Screamin' Eagle with a tattoo of "Old Abe" on his forearm.  Viet-vet.  We drink at Toppling Goliath/Dixie's and talk about the 'Nam.

Use the talents you possess: for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except the best.

I can't find any reference to Siewer's Spring Creek in Iowa in the USGS GNIS.

https://edits.nationalmap.gov/apps/gaz-domestic/public/search/names

I'm gonna stick with Trout Run flowing out of Siewers Spring merging with Trout Creek and becoming Trout Run until it's confluence with the Upper Iowa River.

HM & HD perched in bluff-top trees about 11:45 this morning.  Earlier, good views of geese flying in to land on the Pond, also a big takeoff [no pic] but a lovely closeup of just one.

Only within the moment of time represented by the present century has one species -- man -- acquired significant power to alter the nature of the world.

Anybody know where the geese go at night when they spend days in the Pond?

Arcadia Nest Zero was the original nest as per RRP ..

2002’ish: the male eagle (Dad) and his original mate (OM) build a nest (N0) in the hills to the east of the hatchery.
