tsk - YES, DROOL on that banana split!  I am glad I stuck with my lil outfit, even tho they kept saying it was going to be 78 yesterday, it was cold in the morning.  Kelly's mom and step-mom both had boots on.  Kelly's ring looks like a sapphire, but it is not.  It is a Blue Sandstone ring. Bradley's band made of the same.
Blue sandstone is a man-made gemstone that consists of quartz sand. To be specific, it is made by heating and melting the sand. Afterward, the melted sand is mixed with other ingredients, including cobalt, feldspar, manganese, chromium, and copper. The result is a vibrant stone with eye-catching colors.

Lani - Have a safe trip to valley, and safe travels for Aly!  Thanks for the kind words.  Kelly's Dad and step-mom are moving to Sedona.  They are building a house there.

clynn - Thank you for the kind words, and YES, her Dad is tall!  Jeff and I were the short people.  ;D  Thanks for the nest updates.  I bet those pies from the Church ladies are delicious!

Morning everyone - Happy Friday  :)

Lori - Thanks for DNF pic and like HM pic!  You stayed up late or got up very early!

Puff - Thanks for status report on N1 'no action'!

Phyl - Our weather is similar to yours;  rain today and low temps of mid 40's to 50.  Beautiful peregrine falcon.  Love great spirits bluff cliff view  :)  All wonderful nest pics, thank you! ;D

LisaG - Lovely group pic of all of you;  Bradley & Kelly are beaming with happiness,  what a very special day for you & Jeff and Kelly's parents too - Love the picture of their hands with her rose bouquet - Beautiful rings!! Thank you for pics!! :-* ;D

Clynn - Nice that you will be 'warming up to 40' (better than 19)!  Love MN DNR pic  :)   Hard working church ladies - so nice of them {hugs}

Lani - Have a safe trip into the Valley and wishing a good and safe trip for Aly going to Oregon.

Tsk - No snow for you?!  Better keep your Parka handy just in case  ;) :)  We are having snow on our mountains over here in Monterey & San Benito & Santa Cruz Counties (this is unusual)!

Have to get going now;  Fasted, so need to get going to the Lab for a blood draw.  BBL

Beakers have a nice day.

Official MN snow totals.

Happy Bird Day BL - hope it's a good one!

Life for awhile will still be about snow removal.
But, but...it's not above zero yet but maybe later...need to take snow off roof at least as:

Of course we are getting rain next week which will turn our piles and any left over snow into concrete and unmovable....

Morning all and Happy soon to be weekend.

Lisa... nice pics
Happy Bird Day BL !!!

Yes, calm and cold in a couple hours... I need to remove as much snow from the roof as I can, so the bill will be less on Saturday when the crew comes.

While waiting for a few more degrees of temp increases I found this:

Prince, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Jeff Lynne and others -- "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"

10 years ago also including George Harrison's son....

Prince comes in half way and by that time I'm weeping....it's so dang good.

BL - thought you'd like it too.

kb - That's a stellar rendition of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".  8)

I found a snowfall total (02/20 - 02/24) of 15" from a CoCoRahs weather station exactly 2 miles SW of your location.
They are a community-based network of volunteers and are trained "spotters" if you will.
Their recordings of rain, hail and snow are usually very accurate if they do it correctly.

Edit: I see it add the 20th!.....oh well....it's still 15 inches or so... ;)...a lot!

Have a great day with PIP!
