The banner includes a link to the changes and a button, "Try the new Outlook" when clicked upon it opens Outlook. Before Windows Live Mail I use to use Outlook Express .

Good Morning Beakers! It's Caturday again!

Phyl, a very peaceful evening in the 365...  Lisa looking very pretty!  High 60 here today, better than the 56 yesterday! Oh, that cat drinking from the water fountain! If I want Harley to come I just shake the treat bag!

oldguy, love the Wilbur, Charlie and Amanda video!

BL, sounds like you are having an amazing time!

E4E, chilly here too, and I hope the Farmer's Almanac is wrong...

The 2023 edition of the Farmers’ Almanac is predicting a “shake, shiver, and shovel” winter with storms and cold nationwide, and here to stay. The Pacific Northwest will be unusually wet and snowy, while the entire Southwest could see heavy rain and snow if an El Niño unfolds. The central and eastern regions can anticipate below-average temperatures, with a high chance of above-average snowfall. The Great Lakes and Midwest areas of the country, as well as central and northern New England, especially in January and February, can expect below-average temperatures and lots of snowstorms, sleet, ice, and rain.

Lani, love the Charlie Brown and Snoopy goodnight pic! Is Mike home now? He has been so busy with his job and travel lately! And the girls are okay, and all their critters?

Sydney Sea Eagles - SE31 & SE32 this morning!

The National Weather Service completely contradicts the Farmers Almanac with strong El Nino. Hmm?

This link goes back to 1900 depicting MN and Iowa and other upper midwestern states.
showing the pattern of higher temps and drier winter over 100 years.

I think I'll go with the National Weather Service this year! ;)..assuming El Nino continues to strengthen which I think it is.

Beloved Florida Eagle Cam Returns For Another Nesting Season With New Mate For Widower Bald Eagle
Buckle up, y’all. By Meghan Overdeep Published on October 3, 2023

Our favorite reality show is back with a brand new character. That’s right folks, the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam (SWFEC) is up and running for another season of high-flying bald eagle drama.
M15, who became a single father after the loss of his longtime mate, Harriet, back in February, has returned to the famous Fort Myers nest with a new female bald eagle (F23). Both have been seen delivering nesting materials and are showing strong signs of a possible courtship. But only time will tell what this year holds for the mighty M15 as this nesting season begins.

For its highly anticipated 12th season, SWFEC now features a new setup including two ultra-high-definition 4k cameras “placed strategically in the nest tree.”

For its highly anticipated 12th season, SWFEC now features a new setup including two ultra-high-definition 4k cameras “placed strategically in the nest tree.”
Camera 1 will again have the functionality to pan and zoom in on the nest, “giving viewers an up close view into an eagle’s ecosphere.” Camera 2, the “Nest Cam” will feature eye-level footage of nest activity.
“Finally, a 360-degree video camera returns after sustaining damage last season during Hurricane Ian,” a news release proclaims. “This camera will also allow viewers to jump into the driver seat and experience real time 360-degree views of M15 and any future eagles in the nest.”

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the bald eagle nesting season lasts from October 1 through May 15. Last year’s eaglets, E21 and E22, hatched in January.
Ginnie Pritchett McSpadden’s family has been hosting the live feed from their property since 2012. Bird lovers tuned in that first year to watch Harriet and her then-mate Ozzie 24/7. Harriet took up with M15 shortly after Ozzie’s death in 2015. Harriet and M15 were together for eight years before the female’s disappearance (and presumed death) in early February 2023.
With Harriet missing, thousands tuned in to watch M15 raise E21 and E22 on his own.  Despite the odds, M15 succeeded, and both eaglets fledged in March.
We can’t wait to see what this season holds for M15 and his nest. Visit SWFLEagleCam.com to watch this next chapter play out in real time.

kareng Saw that in all  the print -- he must have reloc during his "acting" years.

P

PSSS

Noone else has mentioned yesterday's copulation??

When I come upon a sweet pic capture I use it for a screen saver to see what's hapnin.  When the two were perchced on that same branch, M15 walked over and had his way with F23.   Looked successful, even tho early.  Then they went their separate ways.  I stayed on that view wondering if anyone else was watching.  Guess not.  Still no mention of it today.

Other curious view - at one point there was huge group of pp strolling down the boulevard, right to left.  Some were pushing strollers.  Many, many people.  After a break in the action the group came back strolling left to right.  SLow strolling; never saw anyone walking orjogging on the sidewalk, much less a big trail of people on the sidewalk.  On the return they took even longer because the groups were broken, scattered.  Some stepped off the walk over to the field/fence to see what they could see.  What actually first caught my eye was the traffic backup, jam, on the road.  Interesting!  No answers for any of this.  Anyone else?
