Karen, yep, you're so right about my LGN's parents.
She seems to be doing fairly well, thanks for asking. Bone growth (height) is a challenge - very complicated nutrition absorption problems, you know. She is still in the Boston research trial to try to help with that. I haven't had any recent updates on her "numbers" related to that, but it must be helping, or at least not hurting, because she is still participating in that trial. Most importantly, she is a happy kid - energetic, and intelligent, and loves her Baby Bro.
Each new day is a special and wonderful day, with hope for more and better advancements.
Clynn, wowie zowie on Bella! 6 GOOOOALLLSSS and 3 assists!!! Sign that girl up with the pros!!! "Nastics" - LOL! Love it...
My oldest greatniece (who is the twin girl with the fraternal twin brother) loves gymnastics, too! She has enjoyed it so much, that she has stuck with it for several years now! I think she has played some soccer, but I haven't heard much about that with her, so I don't know how much into that she is these days. Your porch project is really coming along - looks great! Nice lookout to your mom's bird feeder! Oh, pooh, poor Iris and her egg. I hope she isn't around enough near you-know-who to re-clutch. Maybe she will be out and about enough for a different male to "flirt" with her.
KB, it sounds like a very fun b'day visit from
SSRL!
TSK, glad your perennials got planted. You cleaned out the storage bin?!?!?
Good grief, Charlie Brown!
My LGN love, love,
loves being in the water! Bad thing is, her CVC absolutely cannot get wet - it's through her upper right chest wall. It has to be covered with a "kind-of-waterproof" giant covering bandage type thing, and then she has to wear a really big heavy deal, full body coverage, dry suit type get-up, we call the frog suit, for her to be able to get immersed in a pool. It's hell to get on, and she hates it going on, but she loves getting in the pool, so she asks for it, and then she can do whatever she wants in the water. It's a pricey thing, made for a child, and a family had it and sent it after their son outgrew it. Your weather today sounds a lot like the weather we had the day we went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden... very cool, with thick overcast sky, looking like the forecasted rain would come down any second. So we were dressed for the cold, wet weather, but it turned out only to sprinkle lightly from time to time, so we never really got wet, and all the trees made for natual umbrellas anyway. Made for another frizzball hair day for me though. LOL! Maybe that "Trolls" exhibit will travel to your gardens this coming Fall or next Spring. They will be in Atlanta till Sept. 17th.
