Happy Caturday Beakers!
Morning Blschue, Lilbro, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, Karen, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, and All!

{{{Tig and Camper}}} I pray you get power soon.

Tsk, Lulu  :-*

Clynn, They should have called you about your car before they closed! Let's hope they left your car out and you can pick it up. Mike would and he has done that too.... "ear worm"  ;D  ... sweet mama Nala and kittens... All looks well in Decorah! ... "King Keebler"  ;D ... oh no, that's terrible about the Stewards nest tree/eaglets  :(

Kb, sorry about the snow. At least you have power, poor Tig and Camper are without. Hang in there.

{{{Lori and Destini}}} beautiful morning pics inspite of all you and family are going through. You're an inspiration.  :-*

Phyl, glad to see all is well at Sauces and Decorah.  :)

Lisa, I use a large bin for my cats too. I keep a regular litter box in the corner of the garage when the cats like to explore.

Oliver Case captured beautiful pics of Decorah Mom and DM2! Thank you to Oliver!  ;D

Cutest little kitty smile, clynn.  Looks completely satisfied!

And how about the red-haired kitties???!!!

Also loved the kitty sit-ups.

Ton had to rig up a large plastic storage box for Pain-in-the-Ash.  Even took the cover and set it upright to act as a back-splash.  When I lost my Ash I tossed the whole setup due yellow stains and terrible smell.

Smell problems?  I got smell problems and ear problems.  I recently mentioned again that I have anosmia.  Caused because by a double infection of double onslaught of virus and pneumoinia 2003.

Lastest goofy problem occurred starting last year.  It's called MES Musical Ear Syndrome.  I've been to 3 doctors for tests and exams.  An ENT, and two scans, and one with counter-active hints.  It is interesting, never heard of this before from anyone.  Also, the cure is to get lucky and have it work its way away.  Mostly, its music.  Some times the furnace/sump pump.  I hear instrumental music, no singing.  Patriotic, Christmas, school/sports songs, over and over and over until another pops into my head.  I've called friends  and neighbors to come listen.  They listen - then they give me the "Yeah sure" look.  Loud humming of another toon, turning up the TV, calling to talk to anyone is the frequent remedy.  The most often thing is to make a distraction/noise to occupy my head.  It almost sounds like a defense mechanizism from being alone, no noise.  Yep started last year right along with my loss.  Quiet is a terrible noise!  Now I need a head specialist is what is next.

While I  was hogging up the channel I almost missed some new news on yesterday's weather.  Fox weather gave several messages about Iowa.  Some here have said things are settleling down. I know I and several others were checking back in forums.  One local IL warning that panned out from last night was the alarms about Belvediere.  They are calling a touchdown there, one known death.  More fatalities now in Arkansas.  Seems too, now, that weather's going to amp up east and northeast areas.

Clynn - Love that pic if Hatchery Dad on the nest...he looks like a king sitting on this throne.  :D  Aww, the pregnant mom cat!  So very sad about the Stweards nest and eaglets!   ;D ;D King Keebler!

tsk - Awww, sweet pic of Lulu!  Bandit is the mean big brother type.   ;D

tig - I hope you get your power restored soon.

kb - So sorry about your arbors.   :(

Lori - Sorry to hear about your Mom's damage and Grandma with no power, I hope all is ok with you and Dad.  The Meyer lemon Danish braid looks delicious!

Lani - Oh my goodness, those kittens are adorable!  Oliver has been posting some pics on Explore all week.  He got some great shots of Mom & DM2, and of HM & HD.  I was just telling Jeff about you and weasel using a bin.  He was like, never even thought of it!

T40 - Much appreciate all the videos!

Puff - You need a hug!  I have never heard of MES Musical Ear Syndrome, but I cannot watch a movie that has music in it before I go to bed, cause I will be singing in my head all night long.  It's pretty aggravating, so I can imagine your MES is aggravating.

Bounce!
Our power just returned. Phew! I think I will postpone laundry until tomorrow though... just to be safe.
Oh, and Camper posted to his FB that our power was out, his son showed up and did some shoveling, and our neighbor plowed the city walk for us! Yay...

You lucky tig.
I think I might have lost more than 11 arbors.
That's permanent and i might have to move...

and this is what our city does, pic below.
It doesn't enforce the snow emergency rules...so they just plow one whole side of snow to the other, 4 cars left across the street.
Oh yes i filed a complaint with pic attached to city.

5 of the 10 homes on my side have senior citizens....all older than myself.

I won't be able to keep my hired help at this rate..asked for help..nada...Andrew coming later I hope.

Puff, sometimes I swear I can smell bacon cooking! Not real often but it happens and makes me look around to see who's cooking it! And it's no one! Most of the tornado damage in Iowa was on the east side of the state where Lori and oldguy are. Several counties declared disaster by the Governor.

Lisa, I can't wait to see pictures of your kittens!

T40, thanks for the laughs! Loved the poor dog surrounded by the cat gang!

kb, might be a good idea to move, at least to somewhere with no maintenance for you to do. I wouldn't be able to do what you do... We are extremely lucky that Erin is able to help us with those things we can't do, but eventually we will need a one story home.

tig, good that you got your power back. Laundry can wait for tomorrow... ;D ;D

Lani, those Siamese kittens make me miss my Siamese...Max & Emma (Seal Point and Chocolate Point) when we first got them in 2000, and later, with Beanie (Blue Point)

Hi Beakers. So glad to have heard post-storms reports from most of the Beak Room regulars, and that they are safe and still have their families, homes, and other property, all, or mostly, intact, after the awful and devastating storms. Prayers for all affected, including especially for the thousands of people who lost much, or most, and those who lost all... family, animals, homes, property... just devastating in so many places, in so many states.

TIG   So sorry you are without power.  63 is chilly.  Reading on - power back!!

KB   So sorry to hear about those arbors - irreplaceable.  That is terrible - the end of your driveway.  :P

LORI  Love the bunny with the head wreath and the hatching kitties  LOL  Grandma is in a tough spot and am sure you feel helpless.  Can she be brought somewhere warm?.  Wait, you said she could not be moved  :(   Warm blankets and socks and mittens?

CLYNN  I would give those service people H---!  Like you don't need your car for 3 days??   What a shame at Stewards of the Mississippi!!

T40   Cats with unusual markings.  Saw a couple "Zorro's" in there  ;D   Cat doing crunches  LOL   Blue angels always cool.  Would like to be in one of the boats  ;)  Cool birdfeeder   Poor little owl.

PUFF   Hope it you aren't hearing any heavy metal music  LOL  How irritating that must be.   One death and now 40 injured in the Belvadire roof cave-in

Was able to help set up church for Palm Sunday .  Next is a bit on Thurs and Sat the big Easter set up.  There's always stuff to do that doesn't involve bending, lifting or walking long distances.  ;D ;D

Zippo found her happy cuddling place under my robe last night, and shows her distinct displeasure at being so intruded upon by someone taking a selfie with flash. Well!!   ;D  :-*
