Happy Day, Beakers!Lani, I saw today that Alabama got the overall #1 seed. I need to print the Tourney bracket. I think Florida-Atlantic is shaping up to be a short-term Cinderella team. Last week I saw a cute news piece (on "60 Minutes," maybe? ) on
Sister Jean, at Loyola - she was all the buzz, you recall, at one of the recent past NCAA Tourneys. The video was of her in the men's locker room with the team, huddled for a pre-game prayer. She told the reporter she prays for both teams before a game, but she doesn't pray as hard for the other team. LOLOLOL! She is such a hoot!!!
She's 103 years old! and her memoir just recently was published, titled, "Wake Up with Purpose: What I've Learned in My First Hundred Years." I love that title! Here's a good recent article on her, and her book:

my post to Lani just above... about Sister Jean, at Loyola, Chicago. Also, her new memoir might make for a good read while you are recuperating.
Lisa, it sounds like Bandit and Misty are working it out. We are windy here - that nor'easter is from a coastal low that formed off my coast - but nowhere as windy as your area and north. Heard it may go through that very rapid intensification, called explosive cyclogenesis, aka bombogenesis, aka bomb cyclone. I've watched the news and vids of the wind, snow, and coastal flooding so far from it today. I thought you and Jeff may not be crossing that bridge for a couple days!
https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/bombogenesis.html((Lori)), I hope you and your father are well soon. Take care, and feel better and better.
Waving to All the Beakers!
