Phyl, hello there! I was beginning to think that all the Beakers were sleeping in this morning! Love seeing the two Decorah eggs! Oh I remember the TV Guide, couldn't do without it! Always picked it up when checking out at the grocery store. Another relic of our simpler lives...  And I see the Sauces egg is still hanging in there! Praying hard for that egg to make it!

Lani - Reading your post to kb about the albatross mom's...very interesting that they check on the neighboring chicks when parents are gone.  How sweet!

Hi all, I got news from Barb (I was at Sam's).  'Sue (tsk) was out of surgery at 11:15. The surgery was 2.5 hours and went well. She is in recovery. More later.'

This is a picture of the creek at Lani's. It is a video but I can't get it to post as a video, so I sent it to Lori. If anyone can it is her!  The sound is beautiful...

Clynn, glad to hear Rosie is back! What a fun day you had with Bella yesterday! Love her wanting to pick out gifts for her family.  :-*  Can I bring my dirty dishes to your house on Tuesday night?  ;) :D

Phyl, glad to hear the egg is still intact at Sauces. Seems there's often a little extracurricular flirtations and such at GSB  ;) 8) before the expected female returns. I hope Zooey is back at the GSB nest with Newman soon! Glad you got reminded that both eggs at N1 are normal looking, so no eggs broken at N1.  ;) Sorry to hear about the MNDNR egg loss, and hope they get another chance with another egg this season.  :-* And talons crossed for The Norths to get at least 1 hatch and fledge this year, if not more.  :-*

Lani, glad you don't have the 12 inches of snow. Silly me - I thought your home was in Pine. So you are at a lower elevation than Pine? Did I understand that right now?

KB, I hope Taho wil be able to overcome his problems and make the transition to improved behaviors so he can eventually have a permanent loving home in the future. I'm glad he's getting a chance for that.

E4E, get ready to relax in beauty and splendor! I know you and Kris must be pretty excited about your upcoming hawaii vacation! Oh boy!!  :D

Glad to hear her surgery went well, and she is in recovery now!  :) :-*  Thanks to Barb, too, for sending along that update, and to you for posting it.  :) Thanks, also, for posting Lani's picture - maybe Lori can get it to work as a video with the sound.
