Morning....

Lani - "No more zip in my doo-dah".......hilarious...

Carry on BL and Pip!...

from Daniel B in Minneapolis....this made me chuckle.

"How does this make sense?

Six inches of snow in the forecast for Monday. Am I the only one who finds this unacceptable? I mean, c'mon! I've only just dug myself out from the last storm. I see no reason for another one to be scheduled so soon.

Why can't the city allow more time between significant snow events? I'm sure there are snowflakes out there (ha!) who will argue that snow serves some important ecological purpose. But that's no reason to inconvenience everyone. Give me a break!

A couple of constructive suggestions: why fifteen inches of snow all at once? Wouldn't three snowfalls of five inches each be easier on everyone? Also, why does it have to snow on the streets and sidewalks we all depend on to get around? Surely, it would be better to restrict snowfall to wooded areas, parks, and lawns. Or could it be the people who run things in this city are in the pocket of Big Plow?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's fed up with the way snow is being managed this year. Do better, Minneapolis!"

I haven't finished the last storm.....trying to stay up on it, today and tomorrow.

First of all - Loved your alternate ideas of handling snow events, KB  Very inventive.  Do you think either God above or the MSP street maintenance crew were listening?  NOT

I also wonder how many got a gander of the dis-interested feline in the foreground of OG's post. . .

Happy Birthday Pip!

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Its Caturday! Morning Beakers  :)

Lani - Awe, Dewey missing his mom;  I can only imagine that he keeps looking at the door for her to walk in any minute.  At least he is in good loving hands  :-* :)

BL - Sounds like you & Pip are celebrating your birthdays in the perfect way - have lots of fun - keep warm! :)

Phyl - Like your cat pic - crossed eyes and pink tongue  :)  Interesting DNN nest - as long as all is ok - sounds good!  How are you & Jim doing today after your shot(s) yesterday?    BTW, I did give yesterday to RRP for the special donation day!

Clynn - Love your post and gifs this morning  :)  Glad your Back is 'normal' again!

Oldguy - Perfect cake for Pip!  Thanks for links!  Loved Cotton Pickin Kids!  Great to see the awesome progression of Notre Dame Cathedral.  Maru so fun as always!

Kb - I feel for ya - Spring temps need to get to your area SOON!

Tig - Have a fun day at the ice races!!  Lol 'porta potty' I know what you mean - I've done the same!

Tsk - Since my Dad was tall and my Mom short, I fell in between their heights, as I am 5'7".  My sister is 5'5".

Good morning Lori, Puff, Baz :)

Beakers have a nice day.

tsk I know what you mean re chairs-already made plans to recover dinette chairs.  They have been customized/claimed.  Fortunately they're leatherette of some sort.  Unfortunately, formal dining chairs are leather.  I'll hope to get to them before the winter holidays.

BL  PIP Very convenient that you both scheduled meeting someone who has birthday so close to you.

tsk  OG I got the trip bug long time back when news started coming out about the work being planned/done on Notre Dame.  Ton and I did an April in Paris maybe 20 years ago.  But, as a matter of fact, I do remember those two small crowded shops in the background of the pic of the square.  They've since renamed to square to Jean Paul II Square, previously was Parvis (courtyard) de Notre Dame.  But again I digress. . .  When I read of the changes and plans being  done I put it back on my bucket list.

Said it before, but needs to be repeated -  LuLu is one pretty kitty, tsk.  (And so are all the hairs paws prints you find.)

Love the saying on your BD card to Pip- "Another trip around the sun"
I don't think I've ever heard of it in that term before.

Happy Caturday Beakers!
Morning Blschue, Lilbro, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, Karen, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, and All!

Tsk, sweet Lulu looks cozy and content. She's growing into a very beautiful cat.

Puff, that cat in the video.  ;D

Tig, I hear you about porta potties! Have a great time and safe travels!  ;D

Kb, great morning pic and so true! Sadie glares at me like that!  ;D

Oldguy, lovely birthday post for Pip... that is one chilled cat in the Cotton Pickin Kids video.

Lisa, Aly was picked up at the airport by the staff. They're having the interview today, as well as driving Aly around Medford, etc. She'll be home 7pm tomorrow. We decided to leave Mike's car at the airport for Aly just in case it's snowing in Payson. It has 4 wheel drive and it will be better to handle on the N87 to Payson.

Clynn, Aly will be back tomorrow evening. Mike's fine, I hope all is well with Ed too... "hunting party, can opener" LOL. love the black cat.

Phyl, thanks for DNN update on RRP blog. Trust the eagles.

BL, I hope you and Pip have a great birthday weekend!  Thanks for weather chart. We were just talking about the snow over LA, then I saw your chart and there's Payson.

Bounce

Just after intermission and saw the greatest thing... 4 ATC (all terrain cycles) were racing when the first two got wide in a turn in front of us and one ended up wheels up on top of the snow bank and the rider flipped over in the snow. While they got themselves righted and the motors restarted, the third and fourth riders did a uturn at the end of that straightaway and returned to the other two. The official came over and restarted their race from there. Camper and I were almost in tears. What great sportsmanship!
