Hi EV1,
Several of us chatters are worried that the babies could again fall out the door.  Why would it not be wise to put the 4x4 back that was used to prevent accidental exits in the past?

With moving I haven't been on much and was afraid I'd missed them!  Lots of fluff yet  :)

Great pics, clarinda!

They are definitely growing, not looking so much like the white fuzz balls anymore.

The live stream is off at the turkey vulture nest. Anybody know the reason?  It's about quarter to three in the afternoon.

Help Amy,

This is the worst time for cam to go out.  Maybe a storm hit it.  Hope the babies are ok. Are they?  I miss them a lot, and worry I will miss them fledging. I remember seeing the parents go in and out the higher window in the right end wall.  I am not sure I ever saw a baby launch up and out that window, but I would like to.  LOL.
Nora, did you move closer or further from the Decorah nests?  If I may ask?
I am going to Ely on the 16th of August and back on the 19th.  I am driving there by way of Wisconsin to see some Amish friends who moved from Ohio.
I am free to change my route on the way back.  Would you say Decorah is on the way from Ely to Cleveland Or no?  Seems a little too westerly to be on the way.

They're beautiful with the dark feathers and white fluffy fronts.

We're actually closer to Decorah than we were, just come at it from the SW instead of the NW.  :)

Cam is back!  Thanks, Amy. :)

I have in my old files that Big Bit fledged at 68 days old and Little Bit fledged at 74 days old in 2012.  This pair is now 65 and 64 days old.
