I got my thinkin cat on in 6:28!

Hi You guys! Jim got gone for the airport to denver. he had a new capacitor out in the work van! he showed me on it the three clips deal and if that goes i think i can change it out.just follow the old one to the new one.. have to get two chairs and climb over the privacy fence we built around that outside unit cause last one dogs peed on it and corroded that thing out. then take off the back but first..very important turn off the power!! so lets hope i don't have to do all that but if it quits lets hope that would be what was wrong. i got to mow some more so much to mow. there is not a cloud in the sky so don't know about the rain. i went to walmart got more kitten supplies went out to the barn gave sweets some white powered donuts had some on the day old cart. i was getting some milk and she brought that cart back. full of stuff too. I sprayed down the girls and the barn floor clean it up and put out some more food for the kittens they ate all the food i put out at 4:30 am. i was opening the can and in the hallway there saw that one that looks like mom cat. so all of them in there. he did not run but he did come any closer too me. i put that food on the plate hit that can with my spoon and come on kittens and left.

Hi Jewelies!  Sunny here, and... yes, hot.

cal... I love the thinking cat!  lol  You're running out of rooms to put your cats, aren't you?  lol  Will you find a place to put mama and the 4 babies together?  I love baby kittens!  Especially when they play and do the sideways jump on their tippy toes!  lol  Hope Jim has a good stay in Denver.  Ursula is a very pretty bear!  Love all the update pics!  It's good to hear that a lot of the clan bears are showing up now.  Many years ago, I got tired of all AARP's junk mail and told them to cancel my membership and don't send me any more stuff!  Save a few trees!  I went to Walmart today after work, and when I was trying to park in a good spot, there was a man in the middle of the lane, scooping up coins!  He had them all in a bag that broke!  Poor guy was so embarrassed!  When I got out of my car, I asked him if he wanted to use my little whisk broom and dustpan.  He used it and I helped him pick up his money.  He said thanks so much for the help and I told him to pass it on and help someone else.

JP... So nice to hear that Patrick was able to come to see you for Father's Day!  Did you go to the Doubletree for lunch?   Sounds like you had a nice day together.

Hi obsver!  Did the kids come over for Father's Day?  Did you have a picnic?  ... in the shade, of course!

rues... Did you and Robin take Crow out for Father's Day breakfast?

Hi to everyone!  Hope you're all doing good!

Hi Ra! I was out in the barn so hot here. did not see any kittens in the back hay hallway but left some kittenchow soaked in water and then in the frig. will check when i go back out. I loved your story helping that coin man! see i would do that too. be anything be kind..love it. when i was in the barn i was wondering too if patrick took JP to doubletree and if that place was packed. maybe denny's wondering if it was packed too. jim had a union meeting sunday and then he went by his mom and dad. his dad gave him an applebees gift card.  sister gave him one for his birthday and a walmart gas card so now he has two 25.00 applebees card and sister loves that place. she always get the double crunch shrimp. probably go when she can too. i will get a plain salad or cheese quesadila and a frozen strawberry lemonade. that mom cat just the sweetest cat ever she is sweet to my other cats. i took her out of my closet awhile ago in a carrier put the meanie boys odie and thomas back in the closet. put her in my bathroom with kit snackie sookie and addie. now addie is a well she hates them meanie boys hides in my vanity from them. she was growling at mom cat and she wasn't doing anything but rubbing up against snackie. told her knock it off or the closet for you!! two windows in my bathroom at each end. my bathroom has it own sides and little roof attached to the house. pretty cool and i told them put a window there and one here. so she can see the birds in my papa feeder and the side of the barn. she is happy to have some company now. i think i will put the babies in there with them. i need a bigger bathroom! i got blankets and stuff in shower it is pretty good size. i use sisters or jims. i got a big bed in my bathtub it is big soaking tub so if i want to take a bath i just take that out. i hope i will be able to catch them kids. they are not coming to me at all. when they get bigger i will put that trap back out. i am sick of this weather ra. i did not go back and mow too hot and i just could not. working inside boo boo peed on all those blankets in the living room i have down for augie when he eats. like four of them. running back to hose down girls and sweets. those kittens are cute running down the hallway till they see me..oh no run back in the hay. what did you get at walmart?

Hi cal!  Well, what did I get at Walmart... a new belt, some cleaning stuff, some raspberries (they have good raspberries!), some cauliflower for my salads (did I tell you I'm on a diet?), some protein bars (they are the only place that carries my favorite coconut/almond Nature's Valley), a tank top, some pens and pencils, some Tide, some Cheerios, some Listerine, printer ink, bread, hand soap... NO Cheetos or chips or chocolate or cookies or Little Debbies or cake or pies!!  I'm going to starve!!  lol  Your weather is so strange... it seems to go from extreme to extreme!  First you have rain, rain, and more rain... now you have hot, hot, and more hot!

Hi JP! well at least you got it on!

Hi Ra! the weatherman was saying that we got all that rain now we are way under. i was out in the barn had not seen the kittens all afternoon. took out a can of food. did my routine put it on the plate tap the can come kitties. then my barn chores taking out poop and saying hey the sun is covered up. hey those clouds look pretty dark and mean. out of like the north east feeling cooler. i hated to but closed the barn door. then a raccoon was trying to get under it and wind really picking up. opened it back up got her in. shut the front slider too. looked and kittens ate all the food. so was heading out my side door there and i keep a flat rock there hold the door open but that wind knocked the door tight on that rock. i had to shove and shove and get that door open. ran in and the tv said big severe thunderstorm listing places and i am like that is me.i am in the middle of those two cities. no rain just sprinkles but that wind news said expect hail and wind damage to roof siding hey don't want that. old smokie in the garage on jim's side. his truck in underground parking at the airport. but i ran downstairs walk out and unplugged that fan i got going for the nest of baby birds and then on the front porch undid that one for that nest. got two more cans of cat food ran out to the barn and took off sodas mask she is in. then i went to put it on the plate and looked down the hallway and saw the morris and pale yellow kittens. they were looking at me and i clank that can and they started down the hallway but stopped but did not hide. so i left it. they are drinking water now too. i can tell that. i hope i get some rain out of this no damage.  i am happy this is the longest day i thought it was the 26th of june now every day starting tomorrow will get shorter! :D but don't want fall cause that is bear season and i dont want that!!

cal... I hope the storm goes around you... no wind, some rain, but not too much.  Sounds like the kittens are getting a little more confident... before you know it, there will be kittens falling all over you!  lol

I just went back out to the barn. stopped raining but looks like it might start again i hope. still windy but not like it was and it is a cool wind. so much nicer in that barn. i had a bowl of kitten chow with water and i went to the hallway and they ate that can food and that pale yellow one was not far away. could tell she i think was still hungry. i put all that on the plate and was talking to her such a pretty baby. if you would let me catch you take you in to your mom. she was coming up close to me.she was only like a foot and half away. just watching me with those eyes. kitten eyes. but i told her see you later cause i know i am not quick enough to snatch her up and don't want to do that. lights just flickered here. oh no don't want to lose my ac or tv or fans in the barn. i better shut this down. see you guys tomorrow!

Tasha had her first experience with cedar chips today. The staff captured her reaction on video. https://youtu.be/40nqqThrh7w. Yesterday she enjoyed playtime in her water tub. She is keeping her caregivers on their toes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25m4vTF4r3Q. Holly showed interest in an ant colony today during one of the behind the scene tours. She provided us a great opportunity to talk about why bears like ant colonies.

Thank you for supporting the NABC and WRI.
