Deb, thanks for the good news about Tommy! Come see us more often!

Ra, how you doing? You having nice weather today?

Cal, it is 71 outside today! Gave Molly and Boo baths out on the deck. I used buckets of warm water instead of the hose because I figured the hose water would still be to cold. They were starting to smell! Now they smell good!  We are going out to eat after the car race. Back to our fav Mexican place. Haven't been there in a while. All the Mexican waiters we really liked all went back to Mexico! Now there's more Americans working there. The National weather service has alerts out here for flood warnings tomorrow. We are supposed to get a lot of rain. Every time we have nice weather our local weatherman says we have to pay for it! I know he will say that on the 6 pm news! Guess Crow is tired of the race or he's starving...he wants to go eat NOW! BbL!

Hi Cal! I am stuffed! I wish they wouldn't give you chips and salsa while you wait for your meal. I always eat too many chips and then I can barely eat my meal! I have no will power. Crow gets mad, too, if his diet Coke or Coke Zero isn't refilled often! Today he surprised me... he had diet Dr Pepper! I thought of you!  On Hyacinth today it was Richard's last day of work. He tried to get his boss to let him work part time or anytime but the boss said no he had to go! Poor Richard now has to spend every minute of his life with Hyacinth! Onslow sold the living room furniture that Hyacinth gave them a few episodes back!  Bring your doggies here and I'll bathe them if they'll let me! :D

Hi, Jewelies! We had that horrible wind yesterday--kept expecting some of our trees to blow down. The outside cats were strolling all around the yard today, because the weather was so good. Most of them are loners, but there are three who like to hang out together. They even like to sleep together in a furry clump.  Deb, I'm so thankful that you checked in with us and was able to give us such good news about Tommy. Eaglette, we love pictures, and that's a great pic. of those beautiful eagles. Thank you! Yes, cal, you do have dramas all over the place!!! Girls, all this talk about Mexican food is making me hungry, and I just had a plate of  spaghetti with lots of parmesan cheese. Hi, ra, jp, neva, bischue, Dlong, chippy, nora, Willi, pat!  See you tomorrow!

Here is a picture of Jewel as a sleepy cub in 2009.

Things are unsettled here with my computer.  The gateway (router) keeps losing power and breaking my internet connection.  So, I will just say that I am  feeling O.K. and wishing all Jewelies  good things.

Lucky and Holly at it Again - UPDATE February 20, 2016

Crackle - 8-9-13
Crackle - 8-9-13
In this 14-minute video captured by a Lily Fan, Lucky and Holly are back lying on their sides nose to nose as yesterday. Both are out of their beds, lying together in neutral territory. But this time instead of the prolonged gentle, affectionate nips, they got up and entered into a very prolonged play session. It?s in the middle of the night when darkness and the IR light gives the best viewing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4ABq0-2avI

This picture of Crackle is one we?re considering for the upper wall to illustrate differences in coat color. Born in 2004 to a non-clan mother (Ginger), he was 9 when this picture was taken on August 9, 2013. He was last seen September 9 this past fall, so we are hopeful he survived the hunting season. We are looking forward to seeing him this year as a 12-year-old.

Thank you for all you do.

My two dogs got on the four-lane (highway 35 that goes up to Duluth) when I lived next to it up in MN.  I was just sick!  NO ONE slows down at all for an animal.  Scared the heck out of me when I was out there collecting them.

Cal, omg! What a scary story about Avon! Sure glad everything turned out ok!! Sounds like you were on a treasure hunt today! You found all kinds of stuff! I'm with your mom...give me dollar stores, Big Lots and yard sales instead of those fancy pantsy expensive stores! :D You can buy more stuff! :D   Crow said some guy I never heard of won the car race! Didn't know they made vegetarian rations! Did you open one up and look at it?

Nora, scary story about your dogs, too! Glad you and your dogs weren't hurt!

Downton is on tonight! Won't be long till it's all over for good. Darn it! :(  Hope you all have a nice evening!

Jewel with Micah, Nate and Scott in 2014.

Nothing exciting going on here today, just rain.  It is the dry season here and we have had more rain than we normally get in the wet season.  Rainy, gray days are so depressing.

Let me hope that the greatest majority of you l will have a nice day to kick off the last full February week of the year.

Lucky, Holly, Faith - UPDATE February 21, 2016

Faith at stump on May 14, 2011
Faith at stump on May 14, 2011
In this 1 ? minute video from midday yesterday, Lucky is digging up a dust storm as Holly keeps her distance and looks concerned about the dust flying her way. Bears apparently don?t like to breath dust, either. https://youtu.be/6U8o5f8CsEY

In a 1 ? minute flashback to the days of Lily, Hope, and Faith, here is a scene from May 14, 2011. While Lily grooms Hope, Faith puts big energy into tearing apart a rotted stump that is likely full of interesting smells. She looks inexperienced but determined to succeed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw0eO6QQ0Ec

Thank you for all you do.
