JF, what a hoot!  Such a sweet baby Hyacinth.  So beautiful... and smart.  She'll be a handful for sure.  LOL.  (at least I thought she looked like a young macaw)

Loved the videos JF!  That bird wanted that shower to be full force. lol

When the British first landed on Australia, they noticed a strange animal that had a long tail, hopped around, and carried its young in a pouch on its belly.  Not speaking the native language, they "signed" and gestured to the aboriginal people, asking what the animal was called.  The natives answered Kan Ghu Ru, and thus the animal was named-kangaroo.  Later, the Brits found out Kan Ghu Ru means "We don't understand you."  :D
