I fear that I am hogging this thread, leaving no room for others to post, but I am a puzzle-aholic.  When I am not working and creating  JigZone puzzles I am working Brainsbreaker puzzles (a wonderful program).  Any how, here's an old picture of, left to right, dear D14, D13, and D12 in their first weeks.    Bulbs, 11:56

I was pretty average 8:34.  Enjoyed Mom perched on the pole she brought when she vaulted in.

It's been about a week since I posted the D1 puzzle so I figured I would put in a new one.  Dad checking out the camera today.  7:41

Hi Puzzle fans!  I have a question... why do we have two puzzle threads?  wouldn't it be easier to have just one?  lol

ra, let me try to explain your question, as I see it.  People were putting puzzles in various threads so in May of 2012 Nora got a fine idea and posted this, starting a new thread in the Decorah Lounge.  As everything else there it was off topic relating to the Decorah Eagles.  I think the original idea was you could add puzzles under your name and some of us did (see page 1 of the "Puzzles for wild cam addicts" thread- Iver removed his list of puzzles)

Here's a thread for Iver and anyone's puzzles so we can find them all

In 2013 the chat moderators started two threads an education thread and an entertainment thread.  Faith started it off with this post.

This thread will be for puzzles, games, and fun facts.  I will start it off with a jigsaw puzzle.  This is a screen cap I got on 1/10/2012 of a Decorah Eagle parent's talons.  An eagle's toes are numbered as follows:  The back, rear-facing toe (the hallux) is #1;  the innermost forward facing toe is #2;  the next toe (the middle one of the forward toes) is #3;  and the outermost front-facing toe is #4.

I think it was meant to be built around the topic of Decorah Eagles but little has been posted there except jigsaw puzzles.  I am careful to post only eagle picture puzzles in that thread.  All other puzzles I post in the Wild cam thread.  That is my understanding but I have been wrong before.

Good questions, Ra.  When I started this thread I envisioned all types of puzzles, games, and fun facts.  Jigsaws, word searches, crosswords, etc.  It has been mostly jigsaw puzzles, and that is okay.  Whatever people enjoy! :)  And as it turned out jigsaw puzzles seem to be the easiest kind to post in a forum like this. ;)

And what jpalmken said!

O.K.  I will post a 7 Little Words Puzzle.  I really like these.  You can't work it out on the computer, scratch it down on some paper.  Good luck.  If you like them I can post some more, occasionally.

Keep the puzzles coming please -- jigsaws, word, etc. Thanks for all the jigsaws you have posted, jpalm; they have provided many hours of enjoyment.
