Good Morning all!   Currently in the seventies, tornado watches over but under very heavy thunderstorm warnings and a lot of lightning and thunder and rain in the area around me.  Rain looks to be coming out of the gulf and  there is some damage south of me in Florida and around I 10!  Piper and I got up to have a coffee in case we lose power!    Oh now. Tornado warning!   I best get dressed!  Bbl

...perched on the branch.

There's a swallow hole right above the nest box. That's what is flying all around. But, chat makes no mention, that I see, of who's
on the branch.

But shortly after cam switches to 'box' view aprilowl catches Newman in the nest box.

And, here's a new female, U-09 that's been hanging around.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, how are you and Jim today? Great pic of the bluffs, can't yell who is perching! Wow, you caught a great moment on the Flyway! Interesting 365, rain on the prairie in France.

karen, no wonder you are up so early! Stay safe!!

BL, thanks for the demo information!

Lani, glad to hear that Mike is safely home. Is the juniper pollen about done? Safe travels to the Valley for you and Mike!

Puff, like Lani said, your neighbors must love you and your garden! You don't plant all of that by yourself do you? Sounds like you have a little bit of everything. Well, actually, a LOT of everything!  You go, girl! You gotta do what makes you happy!

E4E, call home!

Good morning from Victor, Idaho, where weather looks iffy for the next couple of hours. We remain in a snowy weather cycle here in the greater Yellowstone/Grand Teton region. Just as we were making the decision to start heading back home, we passed by a small group of Sandhill cranes walking lightly on top of the fresh snow. I'm so glad we didn't just keep driving. Almost always, taking a few extra minutes to get a shot of the common things we see in the parks seems to pay off with a special shot.

BL  Some very interesting links.  What a business to be in - explosives!!!  Kosciuszko bridge from all angles - interesting.  Enjoy your bass fishing today, Skippy the Squid.  ;) ;) ;D   Duck, Pip!  :o

PHYL   How is Jim feeling after almost a week back to work?  Amazing close-up photography after the rain 365  :o

PUFF  It would ake me all summer to do all that planting!  Must be gorgeous.  Parkway planting is interesting.  Did anyone else on the block do that and then have to be grandfathered in?   Agree with KAREN   I have no luck with lavender.

LANI  Awwww  sweet good night.  Mike home for a bit now?

KAREN   What a way to start the day!  Be safe.

CLYNN  Clever use for an old chandelier  LOL

HI CLYNN- we're 'alive'. LOL     Out of concern late last night, I sent E4E a PM.

I updated my post of GSB-cliff view. If I had been a few seconds quicker, I'd caught Newman in the box.
I went back to chat and looked further in the thread and discovered there's a new female,, U-09.
So I  posted some updates.

Very creative use of a chandelier.
Tks for Yellowstone update and Larry J. Rogers  photo.

KAREN- with your weather,  you and Piper take care today.

HI TSK-cute house mouse this AM. This morn he took his last of the sinus meds for infection and all. Next week he'll be back to his
usual hours at the store.

Still experiencing thunderstorms and rain and very dark out for after 8 am!  Tornado warning has expired,  there have been and are winds of 62 to 66 mph in the area.  67,000 without power in Tallahassee!  Trees down in places and blocking roads,  but it could be worse!  Piper has not been out to potty!  She ent out when we first got up , stood on the patio and sniffed the air and ran back in The house!   She said she would wait a few hours!
Have to wait and see if the help is coming!  Depends on the roads and the school opening in her area.  Our schools are open. But did not hear about hers!   I am glad I did not have ti get out and go to work earlier this am!
The recycled chandelier is awesome!
Bridge work in Baltimore is very interesting and  opening the harbor is truly important.   Thanks all for info!
Enjoying all the morning reports!    My little house finch remains safe under the protection of the front porch roof!

Good Morning Beakers....Happy Friday!

Puff - Sounds like you have a farm to me  ;D

tsk - Yes, a successful trip across the bridge plant shopping.

kb - I love the Sandhill colts, too.  They are so cute.

karen - Were you supposed to get shot in both sides?  Are you feeling OK today?  We had thunder and lightening here last night, with a heavy downpour.  Stay safe!  Hope the tornado warning has expired.

baz - Thanks!

BL - Shared your links with the hubby, he says, thanks!  Enjoy your trip to the lakes, and hope you catch a big one.

Phyl - Oh no, sorry your post got lost.  Thanks for links and pics.  Love the morning pic.

tig - Good job on the mowing without stopping.

Lani - Have a good time in the valley today.

clynn - Love the use of the old light fixture!

E4es last post was May 6, for clynns birthday but there was no mention of a trip at that time!  Hope all is well !  Yes, Eagles call home!

Lisa, optional on both sides but the majority of my pain is in the middle and to the left!  That is where I got the shot!   Feel ok this morning. Glad there was no stormy weather when you  crossed the bridge!
Robin has a new post on Facebook on a trip to
Decorah!  Have to go back and read it!

Local news reporting a lot of storm damage in Tallahassee.

tig - Glad you heard from E4E, and that she is OK.  :)

karen - I looked at radar this morning when you mentioned tornadoes.  There was a big red/orange cell passing over Tallahassee at the time.  I can imagine there was some storm damage.  I read the Decorah post from Robin...yay for Mom & DM2!  I am glad you are feeling OK this morning after shot.

Minnehaha Falls The result of our spring rains!

Glad to hear E4E is fine...

Busy again, watered in grass seed, washed outside windows with windex outdoor hose hook up for high windows. All but one do pull inward from the inside but doing this first gets a good start...insecticide poofer around the foundation of the house.

I suspect it might be a big bug year with all our rain this summer....Chris has a big case of arachnophobia.

Hi Beakers and Happy Friday!

So sorry for not mentioning that I was taking a little break from being on my computer very much because of obligations and just trying to keep up with cleaning & chores around house & yard.  I am with my mom quite a bit with helping her take care of her personal affairs on line as she does not have a computer (neither does my sister-only a smart phone).  She was in the hospital a few days ago, but only for a day and got to go home.  She is okay though.  Sis & I are taking turns in driving her to PT (as I'm sure most of you know that my mom no longer drives).
Plus, just going to our Grandson's baseball games, getting together with our friends and taking day trips here & there - the days fly by so quickly.

Whenever I miss signing into the Beak for a couple of days, it is so hard to catch up! So, the more I fell behind, the harder it was to get back in here! Lol!

I know everyone here has obligations and family too, and I don't know how you all do it and you still keep up in the Beak! :-[

Thank you to the folks who inquired about me, and to those that sent me PMs!! ;D   I will try to communicate much better  :)   Everyone has been nice to me and please know that no one here has hurt my feelings or upset me in any way whatsoever! :)

Thank you for putting up with me! :)

I have been regularly checking in on the DNN family!
