Perhaps what I am seeing out my window is ice fog?..although my driveway is now covered with frost?

It's not visible on radar.

E4E - Ziva is very lovable, and so is Stewie.  He is kinda like Bandit tho...pet me till a snip at you, then I have had enough petting.  ;D

tig - Yay for you and kb's team. 

Phyl - I could not wait to get in my bed.  I was asleep before 6pm.  ;D  Thanks for the RRP post.  The elf names...LOL

karen - LOL, I had a large Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Latte to keep that blood sugar high.  Sydney was in better spirits yesterday, then on Saturday.  I made sure to be gentle with her lil legs, cause that is where she got the shots.

Lani - Oh no, sorry that you caught a cold.  I hope you feel better soon!  In order to get out of the apartment before the lease was up, they had to pay two months worth of rent.  Thankfully, their first house note is not due till Feb 1st., but they have to out of the apartment by Jan 31. 

clynn - They have movers that are coming to move the heavy furniture.  I don't know if you all have the name of this company, but I think its rather funny....College Hunks Hauling Junk.  I hope you all have a good Christmas this weekend with Erin & munchkins!

Good Morning!   Beautiful sunny crisp day at 47 degrees!  Brrrr!   Lolol!  Will have an hour at 57 at 3 pm.   Happy to turn the sprinkler system off  as all is very well watered!  Petunias look great sitting out in the bed in front, waiting for the Christmas stuff to be put away so they can return to the door!   One geranium is revived and on the patio!  Think I will have to check out a few coats today!  Haven't  had one on for well over a year!
Lani and tsk, feel better!  Chicken soup and liquids!   Love that soup anytime!
Did not get to Farmer Browns last week so will have to go today or tomorrow! 
South Georgia Pecan also has them and they may ship!
Thanks for the  storm reports BL.
Lisa, glad Sydney was better!

The pool was a warm 83 degrees this a.m. I swallowed my pride (?) and finally used my 3 yr. old rollator to navigate our sidewalk and the Y icy parking lot and the Y pool deck. I also selected well-traveled streets instead of the neighborhood "ice rinks". Home safe. Reading.

KB - you are too kind in your description of the Raiders.  >:(  A tackle can be "legal" but still dirty...

Good morning Jolly Kissy Face! you've been busy, please be to take care too.  :-* ... very interesting story of Whittier, Alaska. I had to google and check it out. It has a beautiful port, cruise ships stop, vacation rentals available. It would be a cozy place to call home. Everyone knows their neighbor. I hope they allow pets.

BTW... Our sidewalk is not icy... just still snow covered. Smart Minnesotans do not waste energy to shovel when they know a melting warm up is just days away. LOL

Tig - LOL, yes I should have been far less democratic regarding the Raiders! You did a much better job.

The parking lot at the vet was a disaster!..with ice I mean, and this is in Edina, my neighboring city and very rich. The parking lot to my vet also houses a large new condominium where they go for over a million bucks each, but the maintenance folks can't keep the parking lot safe?

Whole Foods parking lot also in Edina, lot was dry and safe, whew.

I also take only roads I know are ice free....sorry Ollie man one more day before my residential neighborhood hills are safe. No salt whatsoever. The environmentalists' lobby must have a deal going with the auto body shops? tee hee. Not that unlikely.

Lori worked her magic and in a couple of clicks I had an avatar again.  Even better than it was as she edited the pic to sharpen it up.  This little guy has never looked so good.  Thank you so much.

KB, glad you're staying safe in the slippery stuff.  I wondered if the type of ice you mentioned you had today could've been either rime ice or hoar frost:






TSK and Lani, I hope you both can spend some extra time in your jammies, sipping hot tea and chicken soup and the like, till you're powered back up and feeling good again.  :-* :-*

Clynn, aka, Kissy Face   ;D ;D ;D, you are crazy busy!  Pace yourself, and maybe do some pre-emptive jammies time with hot liquids slurping.  ;) :D

Karen, whatever coat you decide to wear, it will be like new since you haven't worn one in a long time!  ;) :D  I had to bundle up more than usual for my walk today - it was 50 degrees, and felt nice in the sun, but the north wind made it "feel like (wind chill)" 44 degrees. Our high today was supposed to make it up to 51 - much cooler than the 73 degrees here yesterday.  Will go down to 32 tonight.  Roller coaster weather for most of us right now, one way or another, I think.  :D


My KC Chiefs lost last night, to the Bills.  ::)  Mahomes lost it after the game, on the sidelines - never seen him do that before!!  I went for a walk on Saturday, but I had to cut it short because my knee started screaming in sharp pain shortly after I headed out the door. I walked a bit to see if whatever it was would get itself right, but it did not!  So I had to turn around back home and get off my knee.  So it was only a 15-minute, very painful, walk on Saturday.  No walk on Sunday!!  I had to rest my knee, and due to very rainy weather.  My knee is way better today, so I walked 44 minutes today.  Yay!  :)  My knee only grumbled a little on the single downhill slope today, and my ankle complained on the uphill slope. LOL.  They will both get over it.  ;) ;D  I walked down "Bluebird Lane" today - and one pretty male Bluebird was perched on the very top of the newly-installed street lamp there, surveying his area, but he did not provide an escort for me this time.  ;)  So pretty!   :) :-* :-*

Phyl - No biggie-just mentioning that it's my cousin who lives in TN. My sis lives only 5-10 min away from me. :)     Just read of your close encounter with a tornado a few years ago  :o  You sure knew what to do!!  Quite a scary event. :o ::)      Jim is going in to work even earlier?!  Nice that you get his breakfast set up. :)    Elf name:  Kringle Puddin' Cake  ;D

Puff - I see you and Phyl both woke up early today!! I find it harder to get out of bed now that the mornings are dark and the house is cool!
