Tsk!  Good luck to Tim!  I had a friend who orgered meals for weight loss.  They did not have to be refrigerated or frozen.  She had them on the bed in an extra bedroom. shelf stable food.  She liked them. May have been nurti
system!  She had to buy fresh things for salads, etc.  she also continued to cook for her husband!   She was an excellent cook.   Will be anxious to see how this works.

Any new or unfamiliar with past history - In forum under Decorah and Decorah North Eagles, then Decorage Lounge is, in reverse order, the movement of our eagles from 2007 (cliffs) to present (cliffs?).  Many moves and some changes of partners.  Very interesting.  I started 2011 with N1, watched actual construction of 3  of the changes, changes for me now 5(?).  Not at all like me - same nest for 52 yrs.  OMG what a big number - let me double check that.  Yep, that's right, I guess I'm just not the eagle type!

Really appreciate Amy or whoever did that compilation.

Phyl, Beautiful nature vid.... Village People  ;D ... Wyatt is a lucky cat and so is your Maggie. They're both blessed with caring parents.... Milo barfed on my pillow two nights ago 3am.  :(

Clynn, cute Caturday morning posts...You had the same Home Ec teacher as your mom   :) . our school guidance counselors were involved with all activities, from attending school sports, helped with Homecoming Floats, dances, school events. They/along with the teachers would sit in the school cafeteria. Chat with students, they were part of our school life. There were teachers that didn't involve themselves that much, but majority did.... nice "Points to Ponder" the Mighty Mississippi River.... We shopped in Payson, then drove to Pine for lunch and came home to watch football. Speaking of prices. Shannon bought our turkeys for Thanksgiving/Christmas. $.99 a lb at Fry's in the valley, here in Payson, it's $2.99 a lb.... wonderful story you've shared the exchange of airline seats. What a lovely gesture... I love the story of the olive tree of Vouves.

Tsk, Our curriculum was set too, electives - 1 in Freshman yr, then 2, 3, to Senior year 4 electives. .. We did accomplish a lot before Mike sat down to watch the games. There were some great ones today! {{{Prayers for Tim}}} I pray he does well...

Baz, Wow, Congrats! NC did really well today.... great game between KU and ISU! KU won!

Kb, awesome migration pic. Wonderful life story about your dad.  :)

T40, love Rockstar voiceover! awww cat and ducklings .. bro can speak the language  ;D ... dog takes medicine... good Lord, the greatest saves were heart stopping... the smiley face LOL!

Karen, fun story about your dad. The Doctors of Rhythm was a jazz band?

BL,  awesome strolls you took, and this year you did the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes. You can cross that off your list.  ;D

{{{Lisa}}} sending prayers.

Good night! Don't forget to change your clocks. It's time to Fall back an hour.

...

baz, I'll take all the cat names you can come up with! I just have to make sure they are names Kelsey can say, (there are some sounds she can't say well). Groceries, why aren't the grocery stores bringing their prices down! Seems to me that any time they raise the price on something for whatever reason (freeze, blight, catastrophe or whatever) they NEVER lower them when the crisis is over!  I refuse to pay $5.99 for a bag of Ore-Ida french fries!

...

Clynn, what you said! about some of those totally wacked out grocery prices... ZACKLY!!! What would normally be less expensive items in the freezer section are now exaggeratedly high-priced!  I refuse to purchase them! - it IS the principle!!  And... the reason they are staying up there is because so many people ARE paying it! "What the market will bear." Dumb bunnies.  The grocery store companies are laughing all the way to the bank.  ::) Thank goodness I don't let it bother me.  8) ;D ;D :o  Vote with your pocketbook!! Oh law...  ::)  Moving on...  ;D  I kinda like the name of the cat in Phyl's cat-parent story... Wyatt! Maybe pair with Mattie... Then there's Annie, Sally, Josie, Oliver...  Sneaky, Snookie, Smokey, Prissy, Polly, Snickers!  :D  LOL, I don't know which sounds/sound combos are best to exclude.  I'm just throwing stuff out for the heck of it - you never know when one name will lead to a different one that is just right. And then there is the google cat names result... so many. A friend of mine has a cat named Gumbo. He is totally hilarious! And smart! So there's that... the names that aren't on anyone's list. LOL. I've always leaned towards letting the name come after the cat/dog/bird... so there's time to let it float to the surface from the personality and habits. It's going to be fun having 2 kittens running around, and I can't wait to hear how Harley takes to them.  :D

Phyl, cute storage space remodel for that cat, Wyatt.  Have you started renovations?  ;)  :D  I think Maggie is purringly happy in her wonderful home just the way it is.  :) :-*

Tig, glad your meds helped your knee so you were able to get your pool time in.

Karen, oh gawd... a steak and baked potato!  I haven't had that meal in a long time either.  I bet it was divine!

BL, you did! And with snow frosting!  :D

Lani, it sounds like you and Mike had a good day out and about. I saw your Jayhawks won!

((Tsk)), oh gosh, I hope the plan makes for good results for Tim. Hugs to both of you. Glad Barb has some extra freezer space you can use.  :)

Lisa, yay for your good results!  :)  There's an arrow in BL's linked post's picture?  Help! I can't find an arrow. I might need an arrow to the arrow.  ??? :-[

I have a lot of music background that included years of piano lessons, and also some violin lessons, a smattering of guitar, and a dabble or two of clarinet, and sax (a disaster, LOL) along the way, so sight reading was par for the course for me.  But I couldn't do much in the way of playing by ear. The people I knew who played by ear just blew me away. Left me agog. They had brain connections and synapses just firing away at will that my brain never even considered.

I didn't go for my walk on Thursday or Friday. My bum knee was being a bum. Did its thing where all seems the way it usually is, and then I went to the grocery store, and when I came home I could hardly walk. Out of the blue. Like, major pain, and a big limp.  ??? ::)  I had my cane and ace bandages on standby.  It felt like something was not where it's supposed to be. Geez... I thought the problem might miraculously disappear, the way it so suddenly appeared, but no. Anyway, I caved and took an anti-inflammatory yesterday, and again this morning, which helped. Today, it did seem to get better as the day went along, so i decided to see if I could get in a short walk mid-afternoon, and maybe work out the problem a bit. I think it worked! I was walking fairly well after I started out, so I kept going, and it turned into a 44 minute walk, to my surprise. And my knee is feeling way better! Yay! I haven't taken any more anti-inflammatory meds either. Fingers crossed!  :D

Good night, All. Peace. SED.

Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, 41 here now, 65 high today!  Love that old bench with all the pumpkins on it! Great 365, wait til the end! Amazing that they don't run into each other! The whole changing of times, I vote for one permanent, don't care which one! And thanks Amys Blog!

baz, thanks for all the name possibilities! I am writing them all down! I can't wait to have kittens in the house! The only trepidation I have is that the owner wants to leave town on 12/22 to visit family, so we will pick them up on 12/20 or 12/21. And we are planning to leave on 12/22 to go to Mom's. I was hoping we could pick them up after Christmas...they will be 8 weeks old, I would rather it be 10 weeks... Erin said he will keep them at his house while we are gone, I know Bella would love it!  Click on BL's small picture, it will enlarge and you can see the arrow.

Lani, oh no, a barf on your pillow at 3:00 in the morning, YUK! Did he wake you up to the barfing song or did you roll over in it? I still want to go shopping with you in Strawberry and Pine! Got all the clocks changed before Kelsey got up, she wouldn't understand if I did it after since she is waiting and waiting until 9:00 to send all her Good Morning texts.  :o

Puff, yes, we have been through many nest and eagle changes since 2011!  And the cameras get better every year!

Lisa, I vow never to go to Walmart, Sam's, or Costco on the weekend!  ;D I get so aggravated at our Walmart, they have one, maybe two checkouts open, with long lines, and another line waiting to get into the self check-outs.  I guess I would save money if I just ordered everything online and have them deliver it! That way they push the cart around, ring up the items and bring it to my door.  ;D

tsk, I am glad to hear you got the Nutrisystem with the frozen foods for Tim! Kay got the cheaper one with all pantry items and it was not great, I have heard people say that the plan with the frozen meals was very good!  I hope he does well! And now you have to hide all the sweet goodies!

How wonderful to see and hear definitely one, but we think both, juvenile WBSE at Newington Armory. Dad and lady spent the day at their river roost on the opposite side of Parramatta River. Over several hours this morning, both parents made a number of circuits over the saltmarsh/casuarina stands/forest area carrying prey. Whilst we didn't physically see SE31 or SE32 eating, parents were certainly attempting to deliver food. Ravens and currawongs provided the main alarm calls for us to follow to help locate the juveniles. Once out from the branches of the trees, the flights we witnessed were strong, confident and so awesome to watch, albeit with full entourage.

Another 3.5 hrs. of yardwerk yesterday. And Camper mowed the front. I'll try to get a couple hours in before the game and then mow the back after (hopefully before the rain). It may be the last warm day here for a bit.?
I've been running through sports games at FF in between... college football, pro hockey, tennis.
As I was about to get up this a.m., I heard yelling from the neighbors. It must have been loud to travel thru the house and upstairs. Sheesh.

TSK... I did Medifast for 6 months some years ago and lost 60 pounds. I did not do the meet with the counselor and I managed to purchase as little as possible online and it was all non-refrigerated. Instead of their shakes I purchased Atkins shakes in cases from Amazon.. I still do. They have a high protein version that I drink instead of milk for supper and I use a splash in my coffee instead of less healthy cream and sugar. Unfortunately when they became Livea they removed the option of just buying online... one needs to go in to the office. Just an FYI.

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE

LISA   Good luck .  :-*

KAREN    Tim doesn't need to lose weight so to get feedback on diabetic issues on their FB page is not as common as it is known mostly as a weight loss program.  And yes, she told me on the phone that about half would be shelf stable.  We shall see...

LANI  Oh NO - I can't imagine a cat barf at 3 AM on my pillow no less.  :-*   Like your clock reminder last night.  :)

BAZI    LOLOL  You are so funny with all those cat name suggestions  ;D ;D   Like how you gave in to the inflammatory for just a bit.  It sure seemed to work.

PHYL   Thanks for Amy's blog.  Unable to read the Nat Geo links  :(

CLYNN   I vote for one time as well - Don't care which.  Timing not good on the kittens but Erin is a dear to keep them.
Last weekend I was stupid enough to go to Target - One thing and lines a mile long even for the self checkout - Put my item back and left!  I have been hiding sweet goodies for a long time  LOLOL

TIG  Thanks for the info...

Great capture of a determined, wiley youngster.  At one point there was 11 would-be eaters trying.  Held off all for 7 minutes.   Youngster got spunk!!

Nice vid Amy.  Thanks!

Watcha looking at? or are you just a good poser?

Happy Sunday and SKOL Vikings now 4/4 against the Falcons also 4/4 but we lost our QB for the season, achilles tendon surgery.

My backyard mower's self propelled cable broke yesterday while mowing...it had been getting harder to push up the hill so think the pulley may have come off too...
Luckily I'm almost done. Have just half a maple tree left.
I may just rake and/or when I bring my upper mower down for storage use it one more time in back. My grass is long! ;)
I have someone who can fix it and he picks it up...late this year or early next spring I asked him.

Chris upgraded my laptop ios...still 3 versions behind but the upgrade is good for now.
While doing so he uploaded, yes wait for it:
15,000 other pics to the cloud I didn't know I had taking up space on my disc and 2,000 videos.

I can't even...should spend some time deleting some this winter. Many are eagle pics of mine.

What's everyone else doing today?

Good Morning Beakers

Lani - Love good night pic...good Harry Potter reference for time change.  :D

baz - BrokenLug has a pic attached to his post.  I saw the red arrow in his pic.  I assumed that arrow was pointing to him.

Phyl - Haha, Hello Darkness!  Ahh, so you see a tree trunk too, in BL's pic!  I think he forgot to insert himself.  ;D

clynn - The Walmart we went to was kinda busy yesterday.  I rarely get aggravated with people in the store, but these two girls and their carts (one of the girls had two carts) was getting on my last nerve.  Every time I went to move, they were in my way.  ;D  Great pics of the Sydney kids!

tsk - Good luck to Tim, too!  He can do it!

Morning tig, Puff, karen, kb, E4E, and all :D
