One of the North eagles brought a pheasant carcass to the nest, probably some time yesterday.  MrN brought a squirrel for lunch today.  DNF joined him to share then take over the food, and he went to the Love Branch, then flew away.

Breakfish early this morning, MrN brought the fish, DNF claimed and ate it all.  Then DNF perched on a Love Branch for a long while.  MrN perched briefly above the nest, then both flew off to the north about  11:00.  Red squirrel visited the nest and branches around noon [no pics].

Not much action at DNN today.  A couple of little birds and squirrels. Just before 1:00, MrN perched above the nest then flew to the far creek bank. No fish appeared, and MrN flew away to the north.

DNF brought grasses to the nest, then stayed a short while picking at nestovers.

MrN and DNF did some spreading of grasses on top of the snow today.  Cam ops got great closeups of DNF.  She cleaned up her face feathers.

Distant view of a pair of Cardinals, and flock of Canada geese in the creek about noon.

DNF had the remains of something furry and smallish for lunch about 1:00 today.  Muskrat perhaps.  She ate it, fur and all, feaked her beak, and flew away.

Nestorations this morning. First DNF brought a stick then MrN brought grasses about 8:00, with some great views of them in the sunshine, thanks to the cam ops. They did more about 10:30 [no pics].  Flock of geese feeding near the creek about 11:00.

A Red tailed hawk visited the nest this afternoon about 2:30, not for very long, but the cam ops got some great views of this gorgeous bird. Also close up views of Canada geese grazing about 3:00, and DNF on the nest and Ladder Branch about 3:30 while the hawk was perching in high branches to the south of the nest.

Geese in the pasture, then DNF on the nest and alert on the Ladder Branch while hawk perched nearby.

MrN brought a carcass, maybe rabbit, to the nest about 8:30 AM, followed by DNF who claimed and ate it.  About noon, he brought a stick, then she brought a stick that MrN placed where he wanted it.  It's all good.

Male ring-necked pheasant feeding in the underbrush below the nest this morning.  Better views later than this post.  More to come.

Eagles have been busy today, mostly nest work, and one raggedy carcass. Watch the male Cardinal at the nest with the Norths about 9:30 AM.
