Monarch, It's the NWZ -- No worry zone.
Great pics from Lisa.  Could that fish head be a walleye?  Or trout?  Not a sucker as they do not have teeth (I think).

Several deer in the horse pasture as the light faded this evening.  And a mouse visited the N1 nest just after dark. See the eyes reflecting the nightlight?

STL - Someone told me a trout and said, see the spots on the head?  All I see is teeth...I didn't know fish had teeth.  :o

Oh yes, Lisa.  A lot of animals have teeth.   All mammals and very few reptiles. and no birds, of course.
Years ago, I was shocked to discover those adorable seals--have teeth and show them when angry---about 38 of them.

Is there an egg under HM?

Ruby, not that I have seen today.  I think that might just be trying to keep the nest bowl dry, just in case?

I've had to cancel the flash chat, as I'm not able to moderate without another mod with me. So sorry, but hopefully we will have one soon.

HM (I trust your ID, Lisa!) just did some nest fluffing and aerating but I didn't see her doing anything that looked like egg rolling or cautious footwork around an egg. She just looks "ready." ;)

Yup, HD on the nest, and he is still there at 3:30 PM.  I think that he is resting that sore talon.
