Hi LB, Letting you know we're heading to cabin tomorrow. I was notified by electric company no power. I contacted contractor. He said no power anywhere within 20 to 30 miles. I asked about some restaurants and truck stops. Nope. All are waiting for power. Electric company said might be days. So we're heading to cabin to check out hoping all's good with no fallen tress or whatever on around cabin. Contractor said many fallen trees and power lines as did electric company. Contractor texted me he went to cabin and looked around. All's good! Yay!  Anyway hoping power is restored when we get there tomorrow. I'll be cleaning out refrigerator and freezer. Yuck no electric spoiled everything.

I hope all's good with you and family.

Hi Paulie and Hi Tig good to see you

Sorry about the power outage and the food wasted.  Hopefully power is up by now.  I kind O did a cleaning to prepare for tomorrow setting up my treadmill.  May still may move things around.  My sister may do a garage sale in June so giving her some things I don't know what to do with. Maybe can make a few bucks.

Busy at work as always, I am really enjoying being busy but getting stressed in not getting it all done.   I am working hard and trying to learn as much as I can. I told my boss that my goal is to get promoted by the end of the year!!!

I don't even know where to begin with my nephews.  so much going on and I dont even know what is true or a lie. They both lie. They got it from my brother unfortunely.  I still need to think about this.  but when and what I decide I can promise I am no way like them!!!!!  I forget what I already shared

The storm that hit western PA last week was so terrible.

Remember I got notice cabin electric was restored? Nope. When we arrived there was no power. Driving thru the small town that leads to the cabin after we get off the highway oh my was devastating. So many huge trees uprooted concrete grass and all. One we saw fallen on an old house. Many pine trees snapped off like tooth picks. Some lines of trees all leaning fallen down sideways.

The were 18 states that sent additional power workers to help restore power. We stayed there. Had plenty candles and took cooler with things in it to eat/drink. We found a restaurant two little towns away that had power restored so went there too while there a couple of times.

Power wasn't restored until about an hour before we headed home. We were very lucky no damage on or around immediate area of cabin. When we arrived there were two guys from electric company on a 4-wheeler checking out the area.

There were lots of things blown around outside and around the fire pit and chairs and slabs of some wood and one wood pile leaning ready to go down from wind but that's all minor. We lucked out big time. Thank you God and Jesus.

Hi Tig, Thank you for the hug.  :)

Hi LB, Thank you. Did you get your treadmill set up yesterday? Hope so.
Cool about garage sale and making a few bucks for sure!
Awesome and Congrats to you working hard hoping to get promoted!!! I hope you do!!

LB you have done so much already trying to help your nephews. You've tried your best. There's not much else you can do if they're lying to you and not wanting to accept your advise and help. I understand that's frustrating for you. The last you mentioned was the oldest nephew with drinking problem is in Florida with his husband but he wasn't accepting help to help himself. Your other nephew is mentally challenged and is trying to support himself I think but he's not telling you all the truth. That's pretty much it.

HI  Sorry about all the damage in the area of your cabin.  thank god no damage to your cabin.  Here is a photo of the melting sunflower.  I did this in a week.   Going back to the other one again and having trouble with borer decided to take a break.

I will  summarize my nephews. LOL

My older nephew moved out from his husband went down to ft Lauderdale. He OD on Meth (supposedly first time taking it) Ended up in hospital . Oh he moved in with some guy he barely knows.  Then he got kicked out because her is not attracted to him.    LOL Ended up moving in with the guys father. He is trying to get back to NJ but no one will take him in.

The younger one is on the way to being evicted not for any particular reason THis is a long story but supposedly he has places to stay.  He's been supposedly moving into a garage converted to a studio apartment at his friend's house but they are raising the house so no power  to the apartment . Suppose to be ready in about a month But I have been hearing about this since December.  to get the truth is like pulling teeth

Yes tread mill is up  I didnt  use it yet but tested it to get to know the buttons, I will try this week.  I haven't been sleeping to well the past few days and again worked a few hours each day thus weekend. I think I am heading to bed.

Hi LB, Thank you about the cabin. We were lucky.

Your sunflower puzzle looks awesome!! Wow you did that in one week! There's lots of same colors especially yellow tones to match up puzzle pieces. You did good! Are you going to frame this one too?

Your nephews sure have themselves in difficult situations. That being said they put themselves there and not telling the truth doesn't help. What does your father say about this? He's got to feel frustrated like you do. Well you can't help someone who doesn't want to accept help.

Good about your tread mill. Good idea getting familiar with buttons etc before getting on it.
I hope you slept better last night.
