Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, you mentioned checking on what colors the sloths can see, I looked up what colors cats can see best and it said blues and purples. So I ordered the wool felt balls that Sam loves to chase in those colors! I throw them down the hall, up in the air and my goodness he can jump high! Harley likes to get under the quilt on thr loveseat and sleep, it's a big lump and Sam & Sophie try to get in there with him! Is Mike home this week?  Iris.....

BL, good idea on saving posts, I have done that a few times! But mostly not. What would be the chance that autosave could be added to the forum program? Thanks for the Steve Winwood!

karen, here is a link to videos on how to transfer from your old iPad to your new iPad, can Micky help? That the old iPad won't stay on might need to be fixed first, I am clueless there!:  https://www.bing.com/search?pglt=299&q=how+to+transfer+contents+from+old+ipad+to+new&cvid=41a1204228304edfb1c55b8aaba170a3&gs_lcrp=EgRlZGdlKgYIABBFGDkyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQABhAMgYIAhAAGEAyBggDEAAYQDIGCAQQABhAMgYIBRAAGEAyBggGEAAYQDIGCAcQABhAMgYICBAAGEDSAQkxNzQwNGowajGoAgCwAgA&FORM=ANNTA1&PC=U531

Lisa, count one more paper calendar person here, although I sometimes just look at my phone to see what day or time it is! I like that it is on the main page! I don't have to open anything, just look...  Hope you are feeling better today!

tsk, yes, Kelsey still talks about Kay, she asks me if Kay is in heaven, and I know she looks at pictures she has on her iPad. I am glad I took a picture of Kay's Honda Civic and her townhouse while we were working there, she loves looking at the car! She still keeps Kay's Nike bag on the church pew in the hall. LOLOL, I have more trouble with Essie and Izzie!

Paulie, Ed's sister had the same experience as you did with the finches! She ended up with 3 or 4 cages! I think she gave them to the pet store when she moved to Arizona.

Sue Bruhling.....thank you for sharing my previous post from last week when Beautiful Mom brought in the California Sheephead fish at the Sauces nest. Debbie Botelho

Good morning

Let’s see if I can clarify the new iPad is still in the box,  I have not tried to transfer anything from the old one to the new. Thanks for the links  cLynn.

I took the old iPad out of the holder and was then able to get the battery charger to work better than it had been. There is something wrong however, as when I stop doing anything it turns off fingers crossed it will work a little longer.

I go to the dentist tomorrow for a routine cleaning

Piper needs a dental which is down by the veterinarian who has no appointments available for any surgical procedures until August unless I guess there is an emergency. I called her this morning and I am on a cancellation list.
Mickey arrives May 13 and leaves May 27.
Ordering from Lowe’s today or some piddly outdoor items and a few plants if they have them going to call now and see what their lemon trees are and if they’re Meyer and small I’m going to get to get a mess on the patio at this point the yard is OK but it’s mostly dirt and part of what I’m going to get in some seed and see what I can do with that before I get sod  brought .
in.    Patience is needed on my part to keep my desires even with availability. Be back later.

Good Morning Beakers

I am feeling a lil better today, but would feel much better if I wasn't coughing my head off.

karen - I Googled your problem with the iPad...there was three options it could be as to why it keeps shutting off even tho it is fully charged. An iPad shutting off even when fully charged can be caused by a few issues, including a failing battery, a software glitch, or even a short circuit.  Hopefully, you can get that new iPad transferred soon.  Mickey staying for a good while with you.  Have fun!

Phyl - Thanks for the 365.

clynn - Wow, alot more paper calendar people than I thought.  Wait till I tell Jeff  ;D ;D  He is always ragging me about not using the calendar on my phone.

tsk - Interesting that the sloths are colorblind.

Lani - awww, Iris....was sure hoping for Finn to return.

BrokenLug - My hubby does the same as you, types in notepad and copy/paste, no losing your post.

Rosie was here for 10 nights... that is plenty for one visit.  ;)  Camper said I slept from right after supper until 10:45!
I had a good workout at the pool this morning and feel a lot better.
I called my optometrist just now, and asked how he was. I set him up... he asked how I was and I said I've had a screw loose for some time.... and my glasses did too! LOL I made an appt. to see him tomorrow a.m.
A rainy day here. I'll make some banana bread with mini chocolate chips.

KAREN   Glad you have a sprinkler system.  We are really having a lot of lawn repair to do this year.

Tim has been having these episodes of bradycardia instead of the atrial tachycardia.  His heart rate this afternoon was 47! This is the third episode in a week.  He can't move without getting short of breath.  When that passes - he feels fine.( meaning not sort of breath)  This week has been a roller coaster.   We've put in two calls to the doc office - No one returning calls which is disappointing to me.  I mowed the lawn this afternoon.  You would know it was 83 degrees out.  LOLOL    I need to get some Grub-X on the grass tomorrow.  We are late by a week already.

{{{Tsk and Tim}}} Thanks for sharing info on the sloths....  I hope you hear from the doctor or his office in the morning. I'm sorry for Tim, I pray these episodes will stop and you both get a good night's sleep. 🙏

Clynn, Mike went to Gila Bend this morning and returned a couple of hours ago. I think he'll be home for the week. Interesting about the cats, I'll look that up too. I'm looking at their toys that they don't play with. They do like the laser pen and catnip.... awww {{{Kelsey}}}  :-* ... look at those teeth on that fish for Betty Lou Sauces!!! YIKES! I've never heard of a Sheephead fish.... beautiful waterfall and Monday morning pics are very colorful.

{{{Phyl}}} love your morning poem... thank you for nature video. I hope you and Jim are feeling better.

{{{Karen}}} well I read your post last night all wrong. Sorry ..... ugh gnats! Stay inside.. good luck at the dentist tomorrow.

{{{Lisa}}} interesting about possible ipad issues for karen. Sending prayers, I hope you're feeling better tomorrow. :-*

Tig, banana bread is Mike's favorite and with mini chocolate chips is even better. Enjoy!
