{{{Phyl, Jim, Miss Maggie}}} sorry you're not feeling any better... my head cold is a bit better tonight... sending prayers to you and Jim, and Miss Maggie too.  :)
Thanks for nature video, it's one I've not seen before.

Karen, I did not know that about the Trempealeau nest, no wonder Mr T. hasn't been reliable. We've seen two male eagles supporting one female for a few years, but one male supporting two nests. It sure will be hard on the females. I just read about Mrs T only have one eaglet now..  :'(. I hope your tree project went well today. Miss Piper will be very pleased.

Hi Clynn, Welcome Home!!! Glad to see your post.... oh my gosh, you've been busy at your mom's. Gorgeous tea sets, love the glasses in the front of the table. Glad you were able to help organize the cleanup for her..... Big job! You must have been exhausted going up and down stairs. I bet your mom was very happy to have you...That's Louis in the pic  :'( ....  She has refused two other males, so far no Finn.. :'( ..

Tsk, that's terrible news for your neighbor! I wonder if they had anyone checking on their home. I guess not. I can't imagine what the water bill might have been. Then include the clean up and repair..... expensive vacation for them... Good news for {{{Tim and you}}}  :-*

Baz, sounds like a fun trip and visit! Good for you.  ;D .. your Lil Sis takes fun trips with her children! Cute pics!  ;D

Good Morning!
Tsk. Is the home now being redone?  I had a High School friend who lived in Geneva amd had a plCe in. Ontana.   She and her husband spent time every season in Montana and lived in Geneva the rest of the time during one winter while in Montana, they got a call from one of their children. Who had been checking on their home to find that  their  house was   Completely flooded by a broken pipe ,It took like 6n months or more for the repairs and rebuild to take place. I think it was something to do with  weather. She has, since passed away
Sounds like an  Interesting neighbor that you have
Nice visit you had with close friends during Easter break, Baz.   I also wonder who your pet sitter is for Zippo,
Waiting for the chief folks to arrive for the end of their work cleaning up and leveling dirt. Then Piper and I will discuss new trees lol. There is now an opportunity to make things look a lot better than they did in an opportunity for grass to  grow!

Good Morning Beakers!

Lani, dang Louis. Where, oh where is Finn? Is there any hope that he will show up this late? Those glasses in the picture of Mom's collection were Grandma's. She has several pieces that were her Mother's and her two Grandmother's. The other pieces in the front are English Cottage Ware. I was sure glad to see my Furbabies! I missed them! Is Mike home this week? How is he doing with the pollen?

Paulie, yes, I certainly got my exercise last week! I didn't gain any weight and I had Prairie Farms ice cream every night, nearly a whole gallon !

tsk, when our basement flooded twice in one summer when we lived in Springfield insurance wouldn't cover it. They said if it had been a sump pump failure it would have been covered, but it all came in from the drain in the basement. Luckily it was an unfinished basement, but I did have all my crafts and sewing things down there. I can remember the Cabbage Patch doll floating in 2' of water!  I hope Tim gets a cancellation soon! It's very good to have a doctor you trust! We are supposed to get thunderstorms this evening and tomorrow. I know I heard it rain in the wee hours this morning, that is probably what you are getting now!

baz, it's good to get away once in a while! Love the pictures! Llamas! Reminded me of the LLama Llama books I read to Bella when she was little! I put in nearly 1500 miles on my trip, Mom loves to just drive around! We rode about 200 miles on Sunday, to see the water everywhere and have dinner.  Glad to hear Zippo wasn't mad at you!

Here is a strange story:  https://hasanjasim.online/three-dead-gators-were-sunk-to-the-seafloor-by-scientists-who-had-only-terrifying-explanations-for-what-happened-to-one-of-them/

It's not snow, it's Spider Web season in Australia. Massive spider webs spun by millions of spiders stretching over trees, grasslands, roads, even road signs and paddocks 🕷
In southeastern Australia, after heavy rains and floods, millions of spiders have spun massive webs, creating a "gossamer" blanket across trees, roads, and paddocks.
This phenomenon, often referred to as "spider season," is a natural response by spiders to flooding and harsh weather conditions. More details/photos: https://hja.li/z8f6

Tried again, finally sized right...

Good Morning......!

Today   79F    and     Tonight  63F

Hoping to see Finn at the nest today

Lani- loved the 'Good Night' kitties;

Tsk-such dreadful news for your neighbor. The cost of damages, clean-up and just  recovering emotionally...exhausting! I think even with a person checking on 'things' still that could happen.  Sounds like a lovely home.    {{{Tim and you}}}

CLynn- Glad you arrived safely. Wow! Strange aligator story.; Massive spider webs in Australia.  Mercy, you were so busy at your mom's---I know she was glad to get your help.

Baz- what a fun  sounding trip and visit. Enjoyed the family snaps too.  Hurrah! Zippo wasn't angry with you.

Paulie- thank you. Jim doing better and Maggie's back to her 'ol self. I won't be too far
behind them.  I hope !

Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country.   Police and First Responders.   'Little Gray' and 'Little One' and  all abandoned, abused , lost cats , stray, unloved, homeless  and feral cats.
The Bluebirds of Cane Ridge, Tennessee,  Sauces bald eagle cam nest, Hummingbirds, Bumble Bees  and Honey bees everywhere . As always, Beakers, Cheers and RRP / families.

Good Morning Beakers

tsk - Sorry to hear that about the water leak your neighbor had, and all the damage.  I sure hope they can work something out with the water company, so the bill won't be so high, or at least give them time to pay.  Yes, very sad events at the Tremp nest.  But, the remaining eaglet seems to be doing good.  Now, if Mr T would stop stealing the big fish she brings in, and taking it over to his over nest, all would be good! Glad to hear that Tim's ablation is scheduled, and pray for a cancellation for an earlier appt!

tig - Hope your phone hangs on till your new one arrives.

clynn - That is where I saw the recipe too from Plain Chicken for the Masters egg salad.  I have made a few of her recipes that I have seen on Pinterest, some good, some not so good.   ;D  Did we ever find out who that was at Hellgate with stick? Ohh, I see Lani answered....darn Louis!  Very cool the Spider web season, but do not want to be caught in that...lol

baz - Sounds like you had a great time on your lil vacay.  I bet Zippo was so happy to see you.  Great pics of sis and son.

paulie - Waving at ya  :)

Lani - Aww, look at those black kitties in your good night pic.  Yes, the whole two nest thing at Tremp is mind blowing.

karen - I hope you and Piper pick out some nice new trees.

Phyl - Glad to read your post to paulie that Jim is feeling better, and that you are not far behind him.  That is good news.

Good Morning,

Lani, Oh to you having a head cold! So sorry. Hope it's gone soon and you're all better.

clynn, LOL No gaining weight on nearly a galleon Prarie Farms ice cream every night! GOOD! LOL  ;D

Phyl, You're welcome and Yes you're next!!

Lisa, Waving back at ya too!  :)

Hi karen, tsk, baz and everyone.

The pictures do look bigger. They're pretty.  :)

Wishing everyone a good day.

Kia ora koutou (hello everyone)

The Royalcam chick.

As the chicks grow, they naturally become more mobile…and a challenge to keep her in cam view! Here she is after being weighed at Plateau today then moved back to her nest area.

The long grass obscures the chick, particularly if she is sleeping. She is not hiding from her viewers as such but following her natural behaviours and instincts. The grass will get shorter as we approach winter.

Both parents have still been able to find her although she was not on their nest.

Dad A85/RLK skycalling and recent foraging trip to the deep canyons of the Otago coast.

Good morning Beakers!
Morning Tsk, Clynn, Lisa, Karen, Kb, Oldguy, Puff, BL, Baz, Phyl, Ezee, Eburg, Weasel, Jilltosa, Eagles4, Eaglesrock, Emyrauld, Lilbro, Blschue, Lori, Tig, Peep, Jaspurr, Lindy, Pink, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, Nrstooge, Paulie, jicaji, LB, and All!

Tsk, Talon's crossed Tim is given earlier surgery date due to cancellation... your neighbor's home decor must have been gorgeous and costly.

Clynn, love your morning pics, very colorful... I am having a hard time with my small photos posting large too. Like yesterday's Sloth pics or last night's photo. I've tried reposting them in my pinterest, but that doesn't seem to help...  ;D  Mike has been home this week, he'll leave for Gila Bend this weekend. He's been very busy, lots going on with new plant build in Texas, and of course working with this new board that bought out the company he works for.... Thank goodness he got an allergy shot, it seems to help his lower back too... the pollen has been terrible here. I'm waiting for most of it to go away before I tackle more of the firewise cleanup... What an interesting story about the alligators! Childhood memories of Saturday horror movies about some dark unknown creature living in the sea is coming to mind. EEK!  :-\ .... Regarding Spider Web Season!!! triple EEK! That would freak me out! And Mike wouldn't last one second in that... He hates spiders. I have to catch them for him. LOL!! It was enough to deal with Webworm season in Kansas! He hated that. I always hired someone to help me with that.

Phyl, Cute morning pic....thanks for the article of migrating birds and nature video. I hope you and Jim feel better each day.

Lisa, beautiful morning pic... Praying for Mrs T and 3rd eaglet. sad situation... and I'm afraid it will be like this for Iris too. GO AWAY LOUIS!!!
I'm afraid to post my pic too. Talons crossed it's not humongous!  :-\

Yay!.... ;)tig

Nellie is home and running great!....whew. Nice to have some other annoyances fixed as well: A hatch in back that wouldn't stay up without a stick and one of the four doors that wouldn't unlock except from the inside.

Happy Wednesday.

YAY KB  Now you need to take Nellie out for some good ol' 4 wheeling to stretch her legs.   :-*     ;)

We have a pretty significant wildfire (for here in NJ anyway) that broke out Yesterday.

It's well south of us down by the Jersey Shore and the Pine Barrens, but it's near a populated area not in the heart of the Barrens like they usually are.
It is very near my friends house in Ocean Twp, NJ and he said it was a scary night last night. He said the smoke and traffic in the area are a nightmare today.   :(

Last stats I saw was it was at 11,500 acres and 30% contained with thankfully no injuries as of this writing.
On average NJ has about 7,000 acres that burn annually, so this is a big one for this state.    :o
