I see we still can't read 223 & 224. I went back to my member's page, this is what I posted minus the photos & gif. I'm wondering if my bearstudy pics had a spam in it. Because the problem didn't happen until I clicked to post. I may have posted a bad pic... When I look at Bertha's pic on my member's profile post page it's enormous! And not what I posted originally.

No worries Lani.

I highly doubt that anything that you posted caused the forum to glitch out.

BL   That kitten and the shepherd was so cute.   That Ed Ames was a Johnny classic   ;D   Duck and Croc  :o :o  I will easily slide into my 80's.  This AM  deadheaded all the lilac blossoms, and all the daffodil blossoms,  raked up all the sticks and branches that had fallen from out parkway tree and the huge maple in the back, finished off my little front garden with some top soil and wood mulch and placed my new little book reading boy and girl figures - ALL done. Yesterday it was digging all the thistle out of the garden.  :P :P   Time to rest.

KB  YAY for Nellie.  NAY for the power lines  :P   If you go into forum "members" and click on Paulie and then click on "posts" and go to # 1  it is her most recent post and she explains about Charlie.

PHYL   How old was the dishwasher?  Bummer.   So funny - Maine Coon - ancient god  LOL

LANI   So glad you reposted to see the Bear report.  Lynn and others have taken some good pics.  ;D  Love the names they pic for the bears  LOL

LISA   Great AM pic today  ;D   It is really cool here today.  Tim is out mowing his lawn.  We will see how this goes.  He has already fallen today backing out of the fern bed after reattaching his thermometer on the bedroom window after the window washer left  ::) ::)  Otherwise sleeping well and feeling better!

thanks Lani and tsk...gotcha. I was able to read Paulie's post...that's too bad.

I've never tried that before, a new trick.

Wellie, after all our wind and rain I walked Ollie wearing a coat, and got around to moving some mulch in my driveway using a 5 gallon bucket. Maybe dropped 10 buckets or so, threw some dug up hosta left from Andrew's gate work, and blew all the "junk" from the winds.

That's about all I can do today.....My back and hips are so sore...guess bending over with buckets of mulch didn't help....

I have both lawns to mow, decks to clean, and sod and seed to water.....all tomorrow.

If it gets too daunting as I'm in a hurry for deck sealing next week I'll call trevor to mow my back hill at least.

Hope you all have a better weekend than we are.....just cloudy and about 10-20 degrees below average until late next week. Hm, I have the heat on in the house and it's running, only set to 70.

My early b-day gift
I'm assuming your handiwork tsk.  Shook my head when you mentioned your one-and-only.  They seem to always get to make their iffy choices.  I hope he doesn't get himself in a bad decision.

Lani - Hi back to you.  Hi to all as we deal with tech issues.  I'm thinking we're not in charge.   :-\

I'm going to make my complaints shortly - Window washing. . .Was scheduled for yesterday, wind/weather change of plan.  Rescheduled for today.  Got call they had issues, rescheduled for 8A Monday.  Got a call 1 o'clock that he could do it today, now at 2.  What the heck!!!  Been with them now about 5 years - new employees don't seem to know (or care) who I am.

I have a lot of nerve complaining with all the serious issues you all have.  But this does seem to be a good place to vent today.

That's a strange forum occurrence don't you think OG ?

Just 2 pages just going "poof" in the 'middle' of an established thread is very odd, I've not seen that occur on a Simple Machines Forum before.   ???

Wild whacky temperature swings going on here in the Conus mid May for sure.   ::)

No wonder there have been so many severe weather events so far this year.    :(

Kicking back with some cold ones watching the PGA Championship on "moving day".   ;D

82° F here right now with swampy dew points and humidity, not a stitch of a breeze, pollen counts off the charts, windows open with fans on sitting in our skivvies sneezing and wheezing.  ::)

Had I been paying attention I would have put the window AC unit in yesterday, but I didn't, getting the should have done that honey-do look from Pip.  :-[

To friggin' hot to put it in the west facing front window right now for this cold loving installer.   ;)

Happy Caturday, Beakers!

The error message produced when attempting to access the Beak Room's pp. 223 and 224 indicates the error is on the server side. That means none of us out here in "member" land can "fix" the problem on our side by doing anything like rebooting or clearing cache or cookies. My best guess, without additional details, is there was an indexing issue (or corruption) affecting those pages. Maybe Amy can fix it, and if it's an indexing issue, maybe she can rebuild the index... just a guess. Anyone who wants to see what they posted on those pages can click on their own member name and then click on "show posts," and then you can scroll down to see what you posted. In any case, the fact that clicking on "previous" or "next" sends you to a different thread, instead of the next, or previous, page of the same thread, is what makes me suspect an indexing issue, possibly a corruption of the index for those 2 pages. Did anyone who contacted Amy about the problem get any reply from her yet? I hope she will address it, even if she can't fix it.

My niece and hubby and their little ones, LGN and Baby Bro, lost power yesterday in the storms in the VA/DC area, and said a lot of trees were down in their neighborhood. Luckily they're running on a generator - LGN's needs require 24/7 power. I don't think any trees came down on their property, best I can tell from the scant communication I have gotten on that subject from my LilSis, but I know they are all fine.

Lisa, what about at your place? There were a lot of storm reports all around that area. Also, how did things fare at Bradley's? I hope you all have power, and no property damage.

Lani, my first guess, without any detail info, is there was an indexing issue (possibly a corruption of the data affecting the indexing for those 2 pages) affecting those pages. Odd, but possibly "fixable," if Amy gets time to de-bug the problem.

TSK, which part of that picture is part of your b'day present? The flowers and statuary are all pretty there!

Such awful destruction from all the storms over such a broad area of several states - last I saw, the count was 23 dead (over several states), many more than that were injured. The death toll is expected to rise as search and rescue efforts continue. Over 5,000 buildings were damaged in St. Louis alone. Prayers for all affected by the storms, and as they continue through today and the next couple of days.

I haven't looked to see if The Preakness is still scheduled for today in Baltimore. I don't know how much that event may have been affected by the storm system - not just at the track, but for all the related operations, participants, and those who travel to and from who are needed to make that event happen. I will look it up after I post to see what the news for that is today. I do know the Kentucky Derby winner won't be racing in The Preakness, which eliminates the possibility of a Triple Crown winner this year, rare as it ever is to begin with.

Take care, (((All))) .

For a little comic relief... Here's a related-to-topic jigsaw puzzle "funny" for the puzzlers among us (click it to enlarge it):
