Here you go, Nora.  Early morning, lots of chattering and singing between Newman and Lisa (I'm presuming but no band in clear view), then a mating.
They are hanging around and VERY talkative all morning.

Lisa 53-W seen on the large feeding ledge for a couple hours, didn't see her eating, but black feathers underfoot.  Later the cam ops found her on a favorite high branch in the cedar trees towards the lock.

Are we on egg watch here yet?

Shep that's a great pic of the mating scene on the feeding ledge.

Before that, Newman came to the nest box and Lisa 53-W joined him for vocalizations and dancing.  Newman left, Lisa left and had a RWBB on a narrow ledge below the large feeding ledge [See blue arrow in pic].  This is great on the rewind as she tries to hide the carcass in a crevice then flies away with it.  She goes to that branch to perch near the cedars above the locks.  There's a mating there, Newman flies away and Lisa perches for about a hour.  Then to your pic.   Busy birds, these.   ;D

Big fight over territory about 4:30.  There's been an unknown, unbanded bird in the area this afternoon, one with dark feather specks on the upper chest, I'm guessing a female.  It started with two at the nest box, the unknown and probably Lisa, anyway a banded bird.  A smaller bird flew into the box, likely Newman, who vocalized but didn't attack the intruder.  Intruder was pinned belly up by Lisa for several minutes, then was finally able to wriggle loose and flew away.  Holy Moley   :o   >:(
Someone will make a video of the Tuesday afternoon fray.

Here's the female falcon rumble this afternoon at GSB, Lisa wasn't having any of it, sent the other woman packing. Was pretty scary but the loser was able to fly away.  You'll see Newman come into the nest box and watch, according to Amy, the males seldom interfere in female fights. https://youtu.be/0XqndmIWGMc

It was like Newman was cheering Lisa on until he wanted out. :) Lisa did a good job, held the other one's talons away from her.

Rumble describes the ruckus yesterday, and thanks for the added video, pics, and info.

As the color cam returned this morning, Newman and Lisa had a mating on the nest box top.  Shortly after, she cast a pellet -- probably intruder feathers she pulled in the fight.   ;)    At 10 AM, she perched on the small feeding ledge for an hour or so.

Looks to me like Lisa, the fierce defender, is the female for this season, so I'm shortening the pair moniker to N&L.

Lisa really didn't seem to do much of any damage to the unknown.  She didn't even pull that hard on the feathers.  I did notice she had a little fluff in her beak when she was back in the nest box.  Loved the way she held unknown's talons out of the way.  Smart bird.

Nora, for all the squalling and racket during the rumble, we might have expected more injuries.  But lots of creatures fight over territory and most of the action is more like posing and protecting and threatening because the combatants know the danger of injury to themselves.   Probably that's what Peregrines do.

Is there a new camera live here at GSB today?  The posted pics look to me like they are showing views we have not had before.

Wow those views DO look different.

Some females will do a LOT of damage though.  When the female peregrine took King over from the first one to nest there, Mae, she killed Mae.  Bob went up there from his home in Iowa and took her back and gave her a decent burial.  The lobby at King has a stature of Mae.
