karen - Those are great ideas for Puff.  I wish I had watched and learned from my grandmother when I was growing up.  There are some recipes of hers that I would love to make.  I have tried replicating them, but it just doesn't taste the same.

tig - Sounds like you are all ready for your tree.

Lani - Awww, love the faces on the pups last night!  I can't remember if you said, is Aly coming for Christmas?

baz - I am not telling Jeff what you are having for Christmas dinner, he may want to do the same    Love the pics of the kiddos with Santa.

I'm stunned:

about 1/2 hour ago sitting in my living room saw a guy come from my south on my side of the road with a Michael Myers Halloween full face mask on. Kept looking behind him...a poor woman carrying coffee was just walking down the street on the other side and she just took off running up the street. He crossed the street as well and walked up the sidewalk, a short one.

I have no idea what to make of it. But surely he's up to "no good"....We composed ourselves after checking our surveillance video, Chris went out to look up the street. So now will watch for any posts nearby of anything amiss...we've clipped/saved our video.

This city is now weird.

LISA    Home by 3:30 after sorting all the baby goodies and getting into bins.   We had some help from some youth group boys ( 4) and 3 members of our ministry besides my co-leader and me plus an interested parishioner.   Of course, some people took a card off the tree and didn't bring back the gift on it so I had to make a run to target for several things to complete 6 bins.  Last year we filled 7.  Our Angel Gift card program did not do well this year either... Hmmmm.   By the way  Tim as of yesterday now on .5 Ozempic and insulin reduced to 5 units twice a day.  Now we see how he does on that combo.   Could be another week - if he does good - then he can eliminate the insulin.

KAREN   Now we start the next baby book at SWFL

tsk - That was very nice of you to run out to Target to complete the things for the bins.  Sad, that the Angel tree didn't do well this year. 
Wow, good job Tim!!  I am jealous of him if he gets off his insulin! Will he have to take oral meds only at that point?  Is the Ozempic a shot too or an oral med?

kb - Oh yikes, that is very creepy.  Sure hope nothing happened to the lady.

The weather forecasters are not doing well with this storm...  Was forecasted to get into the upper 30s today - instead it hoovered just above 32 all day - ice did loosen up so I could scrape it off the concrete this afternoon.  It has been foggy since last evening - forecast to get to the mid 40s tomorrow - we will see...

tsk - it was a video of an eagle standing on ice with open water nearby. I assume the Mississippi.

The eagle is watching the water for a long time and then out of nowhere behind it another eagle grabs a fish out of the water with the original one looking dumbfounded.

He then played it back in slow mo.
