KB   Good news on the toilet.  ;D

PUFF   Do we have to start telling you to wear your bubble wrap coat!!!  That must have been awful.  Were you able to get up or just wait for 911 to get you up?   Hugs to you and hope you are not in too much pain.  You are right hand dominant?

LISA   Yes, I practically live there this time of year  LOLOL.  Our Advent giving project will be over tomorrow and we have to pack about 7- 50 gal bins with all things a new refugee mama would need.  Lots of helpers signed up so will go faster than our first time last year with this particular project.

CLYNN  Thanks for that great news E 24

OLDGUY   Smart move!  We were suppose to get rain that never seemed to materialize this afternoon.

Off to another Xmas concert tonight.  Wish it wasn't so cold.  Brrr.

PUFF.. !! Dang it. Both times I fell in 2017 it was my mind wandering, well, Planning. You know me. Take it easy... Hugs

I regularly step out the door to get the mail while barefoot. It is enough to wake a person up. Lol.

Camper helped me move a rod full of my clothing from the closet so I could drag 4 of the buckets of Christmas decorations from the back of my closet yesterday. He then brought the buckets (and several bags and the tree stand) downstairs for me. I made a new grouping of stuffed animals on the pump organ, with a string of lights. I checked the tree lights and Tig and Pooh today. All set for our tree pickup appt. on Wednesday.

We didn't know for whom to root today... our Dads were in the Army but Camper's 4 grandkids are in the Navy.

Happy Caturday night, Beakers!   :)

Zippo is doing good. She had no respiratory symptoms yesterday, so I started the 7 days of meds the vet said to give her when the symptoms were gone. This is Day 2 of 7 for that, and hoping there won't be a relapse when that is done... very sharp parrotnails crossed!

I haven't walked in over a week, maybe close to 2 weeks now, thanks to a cranky knee. But it was a pretty day today - got up to 64 - so I put a compression wrap on my knee, and hauled out the cane, and went for a short spin in the neighborhood. I didn't walk as far as I had planned, which wasn't very far, but I was out much longer than I planned anyway because several neighbors were walking their lovable pups, all of which I had to stop and love on... thank goodness I remembered to take my bag of doggy treats from the fridge... all doggies were happy tailwaggers!  ;) ;D

Pip Pip Hooray at NEFL, and Welcome E24 at SWFL!!  :) :-* :-*

Oldguy, good move on canceling the card game tonight. Maybe you all could share some good cheer by zoom instead?

Clynn, I bet early Christmas is lots of fun at your house tonight!

BL, if they get too close to their air, tell yo' Mama-Llamas to spit and kick those drones in their rotors and kiss 'em goodbye!!  ;D

Lisa, mmm, you got to taste both the butternut squash soup and crab soup! I love both of those. I'm making my favorite crab bisque for Christmas this year. The last time I made it for Christmas, I had whole Maine lobster to go with it - many years ago. I decided this year to have filet mignon with it. And a bourbon pecan pie for dessert.  8)

Karen, I'm hoping Mickey will get down to your place for Christmas after all, but if not, hopefully she will make it there for an early Spring visit.

Lani, glad your day was better than the one before. What happened? I'm hoping the Chiefs will pull off another win tomorrow! They sure have been making me nervous recently, though!

TSK, it sounds like your Milwaukee family get-together was a fun time! How is Tim feeling these days?

Phyl, glad your back is some better!

KB, Snowy Owls are gorgeous animals!

Tig, have fun decorating!

(((Puff))) I'm so sorry for your fall and broken wrist! Call on your nice neighbors to help you out over the holidays this year! They will be happy to do so!

Waving to All the Beakers!   :)

Good Morning Beakers!

baz, good to see you, glad you were able to get a walk in! And hooray for Zippo! You are a good bird Mom, I am sure Zippo agrees! Sweet of you to take doggy treats along, you want to see those wagging tails! I finished up, making caramels and pizzelles yesterday, so all holiday goodies are done!  Love the pictures of Lil' Punkin and Lil' Bro, they are such cuties!

Lani, I can't wait to see the Munchkins open their presents! We always have chili and Cheddar Bay biscuits, and there are plenty of goodies!

tsk, how was the concert? You are surely in the Christmas mood now! FB - I don't know who Deanne is, but it was me at nr's yesterday! I noticed that you saw the pictures !

oldguy, good choice, not to venture out last night! It was okay when I went to nr's at 2:00, just wet and rainy. I saw that you got it a lot worse than we did!

Lisa, will you be getting together with Bradley and family for Christmas? I hope so....

Tea at NR's yesterday!

 Good Morning Beakers !

Currently: 51F cloudy , High  56F mostly cloudy,  with  Low 51F

Yesterday, I was rooting for the Army as in WWII my Dad enlisted in the US Army  Air Corps as the Army and US Air Force were called then.
Just the sound of our winds blowing give one a real icy chill .
[/i]

{{{puff}}} hope the injury isn't your dominant hand/wrist.   Just a thought...why don't you order your Christmas 'feast' catered  ...

CLynn great news  you posted  from   SWFL...Eagles M15 and F23,  Congrats to you both on your first hatchling.  And,  "Welcome to the world E24 !!"
     And... a special  'Thank You!"

Karen  No didn't say surgery was done...just that a spinal surgeon wanted to  operated and put a metal plate in the lower spine to fuse
them. My neurologist said to past on it as Nature would, in time, take care of this. And, Nature didn't disappoint.  Now, I do have a titanium plate in
the cervical (neck)  spine /C3 thru C6 . This makes swallowing a little difficult.
Take care you and Piper. No slips.

OG  glad  you stayed home.

Baz   good news for  Zippo!  Been ages, it seems since we saw 64F. Nice snaps of the G. niece and nephew with 'Santa'.

Tsk how was the  Christmas concert?

CLynn  That was some 'tea' at NR's.  ;)

🙏 s   Prayers for:  Victims of natural  and Man-made disasters plus those who rescue them. The Fallen / Our Allies in Defense of our country. Well, the card game is off for tonight - temps did not rise as forecasted - only 33 and rain - forecast was for 37 by now.  Too many old folks to try and walk uphill on ice. ;)

((Puff))

Thanks og - Found out Thursday old folk can have trouble walking out the door to the garage.

Appreciate your concern too clynn  It was my LEFT wrist - I'm glad I got at least that bit of advantage.  Now maybe someone could tell me how to get into the car and shut the door among other things.  You never know until it becomes a necessity.  One thing I know is a big issue -- getting out of the bra within the next three weeks or so.  I did think through the idea of ordering maybe 3 new front open style.  That is my next plan of attack for yet another issue.

Let me relax over a nice relaxing cup of tea.  (opps another kink - how to squeeze out a soggy teabag without making a mess.   :-\

KAREN   Good idea for Puff  ;D

LANI   Your holiday dogs last night have great expressions  :D

BAZI  More good news on Zippo  :).    I would  call your planned Christmas dinner - going all out!!  YUM    Tim doing OK  Has put back on the weight he lost the last few months.   What sweet pics of Punkin and Lil Bro with Santa.  ;D  Love that innocent age.

CLYNN   That looks like an Advent dream catcher... ;) ;)   I knew that was you at NR;s as you mentioned going to tea there yesterday.  What a presentation.  Looked very professional to me.  Concert a lot of fun - Had an audience participation in " 12 Days of Christmas" which was really funny.  ;D

PUFF    So you are left handed!  Yes an advantage.   Try a YOU TUBE video on the bra thing.  LOL

PHYL   3 D puzzles a real challenge and beautiful.

NOTICE ALL - Corrected my last post.  I obviously hit my head going down too. . . . . . I'm right handed not left handed.

baz Two out of 4 nearest/dearest out of town.

clynn My stuff is all over and everywhere.  Got nothing of my stuff to the finish point.  I'm planning on February for early combo Christmas/spring cleaning.  But did get to see the A/N game.

And I also watched the entire debut of E24, Lani.  Sweet to watch and cheer on.
