kb - The soup sounds delicious.  When I took Jeff out for his birthday dinner, the waitress brought us a lil sample of butternut squash & crab soup.  It was tasty and different, and had a hint of nutmeg in it.  As cold as your temps are, I don't think Jeff would have grilled either.

Good night, everyone  :)

Awesome short eared owl  in MN By Ben Stoterau
Some really 'Brrr!' days for everyone this week.
Fantastic news from  SWFL via   wiskernwings!  And,  estimated hatch in  33 hours! Great news...appreciated the snaps

Two handsome 'fellas' in a convertible this afternoon .
Chili sounds great...No. 1 Chinese for us tonight. I'd love some green tomatoes thick cut and rolled in corn meal, pan fried colden and topped
with ketchup.  ;)
Back is better...for now as long as I don't sleep flat or sit too long.
Salmon gently baked and basted with real butter and olive oil w/ a Caesar salad.
Time to let the faucets slowly drip at night. Some good info posted  this afternoon.

Good Night Beakers... SEDs

I miss this...

LOL. I wish my funny bone wasn't broken this evening...as I'd love to come up with a witty retort!

"Barricades of Heaven" was sweet. Thanks.

Good Morning Beakers! Caturday again!

tsk, you beat me this morning! I managed to sleep a little later than usual! I didn't think of giving the cats gabapentin and then trying to trim their claws! And I should have because the vet gave me some to give to Harley so they could trim his!

Lani, oh, NE31 at NEFL! Thanks for the pic, they are beautiful!  And we almost have a hatch at SWFL! Just checked, no hatch yet but chat says you can hear chirps! I forgot that it was Friday the 13th, nothing bad happened except that we got freezing rain during the night! High today 35 so it won't be around too long. Hey, it's Iowa, winter weather expected this time of year!

BL, I think I would want to know just what those flying objects were up to! And it's just in NJ, is there some big secret government project going on around there?  :o :o

Phyl, absolutely gorgeous scenery in the Pyrenees, and then the fat little Bullfinch!  Thank you! Your dinner sounds so good! We will be having chili tomorrow evening, the kids will be over for our Christmas, I can't wait to see Talon and Bella open their presents! Another good 365, the Oystercatchers! I was waiting for one to get an oyster! Then one did and he had to run with it! Bad hair day for those morning cats!

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown
