All the sun makes things look warm and cozy - Woke up this a.m. about 5, it was 11 degrees.  Now 9 a.m. and it's soared all the way to 14.       I'm guessing a nippy day.

Oldguy, I did not know about that info on spam or canned ham, very interesting.... I'm not a spam fan myself, we ate a lot of it growing up. My mom cooked it with pineapple.  Mike still loves to eat spam micro cooked till crisp... To this day I can't stand pineapple cold/hot or as a drink .... Loved the Hedgehog story. I wonder if he'll move the hedgehogs with him when their new home is built. They will be so spoiled. LOL! ... awesome ship video!

Tsk, Mike enjoyed meeting his young new boss to be. When the final agreement is signed, I'll share the Washington state company's name, with info about it. Mike said he wished he was 20 years younger and able to be part of the new company's future. Lots of changes will occur, but the future of Mike's current company will continue and current employees with it. I pray it will be a good blending and not too many bumps in the road...

Phyl, My sister, her daughter and family are hoping Bailey will be allowed to be home for Christmas. But, there will be limitations on how many family members can be seen with her. Right now only Bailey's parents are allowed to be near her. It may be a couple of weeks before other family members are allowed. My sister and BIL haven't been allowed to see her.... funny cat video, love the cat's map....

Clynn, love your Caturday pics! Great pics of the munchkins! Miss Bella looks very grownup.... awww that poor cat doesn't want his hoarding stash taken away... what a great pic of mom and her boys.... I have a pair of jeans with holes, and shredded hems that I wear when I do firewising. I feel very instyle when working outside. LOL!!!

Lisa, Mike like his new 30's something boss very much!  When we've been invited to someone's home, I'll ask if I can bring something. They'll say bring a hot dish for the appetizer table or potluck. So, I'll bring a savory appetizer, hot artichoke or spinach dips, hot cheese dips, sausage balls, etc, anything like that. I guess it could be a midwestern thing, but' I've been asked the same thing here.

GoodAfternoon!  Chilly day and will have   to bring some plants in tonight!  Will cover a hanging basket with a garbage  bag and hope for the best!  Too heavy tor me to get off the hanger.
Sorry for having Lisa post what turns out to be a fake picture .I did not research this and after spending 2 1/2 years driving up and down the roads in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina,
 I never questioned the validity of the picture.  even if it is fake,  The area is very beautiful.  Thanks Leilani for pointing this out.

Tsk, your turkey soup sounds wonderful and a great dish for cold weather. Sorry Tim doesn’t have another turkey leg to munch  on today. I still have some turkey left but don’t care whether I eat it or give it to Piper. I will unfortunately probably finish the dressing and the green bean casserole ,

KAREN   Never fear.  Tim found some turkey legs at Whole Foods today!!  I said I'll show you where the cooking bag is and the directions and it is all yours!!!

LISA  Burgers on the Forman tonight with tater tots and leftover green beans.  We finished off the turkey soup at lunch.  Barb should be landing soon from Birmingham - where she and Tom spent Thanksgiving with their son and 4 grandgirls. ( Tom flew back to Naples and will return in about a week.  This was supposed to be when Tim would go down to be with him.  )     -I put some turkey soup in her fridge for her dinner tonight.  Another friend is picking her up as I'm almost swearing off night driving esp in the O'Hare area.
