Good Moring Beakers!

I have a 7:30 Dr. appointment this morning, just the Medicare 6-month checkup.

Lani, I am so happy for you and Mike that Aly will be home for Christmas! And I know Sadie and Dewey will be so excited to see each other! Prayers for Mike, we don't need him to be falling. Like my Dad, they feel like they need to help. I think it's harder for men to accept that they can't do some of the things they used to do...  Love the sweet good night kitty! And the Pilgrim Yorkies!

BL, your peace and quiet with the night sounds and the shite snow...heavenly!

tsk, I am so glad to hear you have an appointment for Tim this morning! Wow, what did they expect you to do for 3 weeks? He might have run out of blood by then!!!  What an ordeal both of you have gone through!

Phyl, loved your morning pics, more puzzles! And those huge turkeys in the crabapple tree! How are you and Jim and Maggie doing? Your ceramics are beautiful!

Lisa, yes, thankfully we usually have more to be thankful for than not!

Sue Bruhling - Above and Beyond the Live Cam...
I do have a update on the Decorah Hatchery Eagles for you! Our 'Boots on the Ground" Larry Bellrichard and Cindy Bellrichard.
Last Friday which would have been November 15, 2024, they saw HM/Missy perched on a branch on N1! Great News!
Tells us they are still in the area and gives us a little Hope that maybe they will come back to N1! Or at least letting us know that they are still in the N1 & N2B area!!
Now we just wait and see what happens as time goes on. Do they stay over at N5 behind the Bluffs or come back and nest on N1 or N2B.... Only the Eagles know! 😉
Have a great day everyone! Remember don't let anyone take your Happy away!
🙂
Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

TIG    What movie did you see?  Correct.  I hope I outlive Tim... ::)

BL    BRRR.  With only the sounds of the night...

LANI    (((Mike)))

CLYNN   Awesome dream catcher.    Didn't know you could get a 6 month Medicare checkup - Mine is yearly...So agree with you about maybe being more difficult for men to give up duties.  Another reason why I got a smaller tree.  No step stool involved.  ;)
Sure would be great to have HM and HD  be visible on camera again.  We've never seen that happen before and we've seen lots of firsts!

Good Morning!    Have a good check up Clynn!   Oil change and etc!   Lol.    My bp is still slightly elevated!   Cloudy day with highs in the upper  70’s.  Think the help is returning today!    Going to use Old Guys numbers and  call the plumbers!  These potties are not good!   Bl, you and Pip have fun! 🤩
The outdoors is great!  Snow does seem to cushion  human noise!
Clynn, thanks for the report on hm sighting!   Swfl is half way plus one day to hatch!

(((Tsk/Tim)))

Happy Birthday, Talon!

bounce

We saw Gladiator 2... which, even tho' violent, was a better story than expected. And it was a treat to hear some of the music from the original movie that was written by Hanz Zimmer (our favorite composer).
We will see Wicked today.
I am viewing both movies because hubby wants to. I'm not a fan of violent fare, and not usually a fan of sequels and prequels. And I'm never a fan of horror pics... unless it is an old favorite with Bela, Boris...  :o

Tnx for the RRP updates

We had a slight scare last night before finding more info. (Actually, I'm the one that worries, Camper is much better at trusting God). There was an announcement (way late in the Medicare open enrollment window) that some provider systems would not be honoring certain Medicare Advantage plans next year! After doing the research, I found that the closest situation for us would be Mayo Clinic not accepting HealthPartners. Hopefully we will never need to go there.

Good Morning Beakers

BrokenLug - Glad you made it to there....North Face is the best!

Lani - Oh no, I hope Mike is OK from his fall.

clynn - Agree with your thankful statement.  Good luck with your check-up this morning.  Ditto what everyone else said about the dream catcher.  Thanks for the Sue B pic and update.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Talon!!!

tsk - Good luck to Tim this morning at docs!  You made me go measure my toilet.  I have a high one, too.  From floor to top of rim is 17.5".

karen - Hope you can get that blood pressure down some.

Phyl - Pretty pics this morning.  We must be having the same weather on Turkey Day.  It rained a lil earlier this morning, looks cold and damp out.

kb, Puff, tig and all
