TIG  When in doubt - shut down!!  I've had that before as well.

CLYNN   Just watching the news and Des Moines is the big story - tornados possible.  Be safe  Now 4:03   I have never had a cat that would drink water next to her food dish!!  Lulu's water is in our bathroom and food dish in the kitchen.  She drinks a lot.   Great shot of Nancy and Beau's kids

LANI   Yay Finnigan - a no brainer.  LOL

Hi LORI   Love the strawberry celebration  ;D

KB   You have one heck of a lot of yard to keep up

BL, all is well here! It has passed...

tsk, the power went off a few minutes ago, for about 5 minutes! Just enough to have to re-set things! The tornado activity seems to be on the east side of DSM, we are way over on the west side so I think we are ok. The trees were really whipping around!

Lori, it looks like you are going to get some of the storm too! You and Destini take care LOVE all the strawberries!

Lani, baz, Finn it is!  Iris and Finn, love it!

tig, you don't have to get out of the screen to close your browser. Ctrl, Alt, Delete , press all three at once and you will get a menu. Choose Task Manager,l and you will get a list of everything open. Highlight your browser (Edge, Chrome or whatever) and hit End Task. It will close and with it goes the bad thing! You will be able to open your browser then. And you will be fine. Erin showed me this after I called him in a panic one day.
Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink. But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love. If you must steal, steal away from bad company. If you must cheat, cheat death. And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away. ~ Unknown

Clynn... That is what Camper wanted me to do but then we discovered there is no delete key on a Chromebook. So he just shut the power button down and then we restarted and it was okay. Thanks though!
Just got my bangs trimmed and having my toesies done now with a back massage from the chair. Woohoo!

some bounce

public service announcement

My Chromebook just experienced a lockup due to a scam. I had logged out of Hotmail which takes me to the MSN news page. I clicked on a news article before checking to see if it was actually an "ad". My whole screen was filled with images of multiple Microsoft windows and a voice came on repeating a message that I had a virus and call this number and don't shut down or it will spread, etc. Camper and my searching the problem on Google on my phone prompted us to shut down and restart. Problem gone. Phew! Scary.

BBL

Here is a 9 minute video with good description and close-up views of the Dali move... https://youtu.be/hjWotmL0YZY?si=tz9wBO_AmIYDCp71

What you just described sounds like the same exact thing that happened me about a month ago.  Yes it was scary.  Just as you mentioned, the voice kept warning me not to shut down or it will spread, etc.  No, I did not call the number they were showing either.  This is what I did:  I pressed Ctrl - Alt - Delete all at once. Then I probably did a 'hard' shut down, because I pressed the power button until it went completely off.  I waited several minutes, then booted back up and all seemed fine.  I haven't had any other problems.  Whew!!!!!

CLYNN    Looks like Mother Nature did some tree trimming in your yard.  Glad you are OK  We could have something going on between 8 and 10 tonight-  a big unless - it loses some strength moving into our area....Look at that white tummy on that big boy Finn!!
I wrote down that shut down info for TIG.

TIG  Going on a vacay in style!!

Clynn- I know you are looking forward to having the Munchkins every Wednesday and you mentioned May 29th!!!  Can't believe that is already next week!!      Love the pic of S & S! :)

Tsk- I too always wanted to see what Katy chose to wear for each show!  I enjoyed 'Idol' so much this season - many contestants left too soon!  Lots of great talent for sure!

Karen- It is hard to imagine just how large the Dali ship is - so glad the ship is moving now.    That's great news; no issues found with your car! :)

Tig- Hope you hear from your Doctor soon!  Hopefully you will get Rosie again sometime in the near future - when her parents decide to go on a trip! :)    Have a wonderful stay at the Lake next week! 8)     Beautiful 'Russians' - Siberian flower!!!

Kb- Wow! Those photos of 'land spout' yesterday! :o ::)   Probably was good to change your ear appt to tomorrow. Good to be safe.   Love your Iris!   Just saw more of your fabulous pics!! You have lots of gorgeous flowers & plants!!!

Phyl- Thank you for all the info you posted on the Cicadas in TN.  I haven't talked to my cousin about the Cicadas, but she lives in TN and is approx. 2 or 3 hours out of Nashville.      Love the Cane Ridge Bluebirds picture!

Og- Thank you for Dali link.

Puff- You sure are busy with your yard & home!

LisaG- Glad to know you got a little bit better sleep {{Lisa}}

Lani- Thank you for all the great Albie info and pics! ;D   Our weather is in the mid 60's this week - so I'm happy!

Baz-  You have a good evening too!

Lori-  Like all the yummy treats!!  Wish I could taste a few of them! ;D

Wishing all Beakers an evening of peace & relaxation.  All be safe.

kb - Beautiful flowers in your yard.  Good idea to change your ENT appt that was this afternoon.

Lani - The big hole in the font/side of the ship where the bridge fell on it, is what amazed me. Thanks for the Royal update.  Yay for the name Finnegan!

tsk - I have a 3 month appointment at ENT on June 7th.  Regular check up for you?  We will need to compare notes on the tinnitus.    :D

tig - Enjoy your spa day!

clynn - Glad you are safe.  Cute pics of S&S.  Misty is the ice cube player here.  Beautiful eaglets!

baz - Waving at ya!

karen - Glad you had no other issues at the oil change.

Lori - Thank you and miss you too!  Ooo, lots of yummy strawberry goodies.

E4E - Thank you  :)

Beakers, please be safe in this weather.
