RRP posted great video of visiting eagles, chasing eagles, new perching spots, it's all a bit confusing.

The cam ops are doing a great job!  Watch on the rewind to see multiple eagles of all ages as they pass through the Norths' valley.
Video from a few days ago of a coyote feasting on the deer carcass -- really interesting and amazing that the cameras get such good closeups from pretty far away.

This morning it is raining, and wet feathers add to the confusion when trying to ID adult eagles.

Wildlife documentary on rewind this morning from daylight to noon.  Visiting eagles are still perching here and there. MrN and DNF got serious about nestorations, with the first cornstalks and a load of grasses around 9:00.  Lots of great closeup views from different cameras.

A starling joined DNF on the nest at 8:45!  And a coyote was feeding on the deer carcass then crossing the creek about noon.  All this to watch and no commercials!

Coyotes were in the pasture and near the nest tree this morning, 4 of them at about 4:00, then several again at 6:00. A female Northern Cardinal and a sparrow perching in small branchy trees about 8:00.  A male pileated woodpecker foraging on the Yonder Snag at 2:00 this afternoon.  Cam ops showed closeup of wild rose hips, so glossy red.  Birds and critters love them.

One large adult BE visitor perched in the tree just north of the Claw Tree for a while after daylight (no pic but closeups on rewind).

Shortly after sunrise, large BE perching in that tree north of the Claw Tree, might be DNF or visitor.  There's a carcass in the nearby woods past the creek; the eagle flew down to chase off crows and eat some.  Guessing it's another deer carcass and that the eagle brought the tail down by the creek, defurring and eating it, gulp, gulp.  Eagle washed it down at the creek, and crows flew to the leftovers, but MrN arrived, scattering the crows until he went to the carcass. Now I'm pretty sure the larger eagle was DNF.

About 8:00 this morning, two starlings were puffed up from the chill, perching near the nest.  At 9:00,  DNF and MrN perched together in a creek tree.  At about 9:05 they flew to the nest.  MrN has a grassy tiara!  Nice closeups of the Norths, good landings and takeoffs, and MrN brought a stick.

Rain this morning at DNN.  Wondering if some cables fell during the night, quick view right after daylight.  The "main" camera and sound are working.
DNF perched in a tree across the creek around 11:00, but don't know which tree.

Windy chilly morning.  The Norths visited the nest briefly about 8:00.  Then MrN spent a while wrangling a big, dark stick on the ground north of the nest tree.  He balanced with it on a fallen log, but gave up on taking it to the nest.  Maybe too heavy and wet.  About 8:30, he came to the nest with something wispy, and arranged some corn husks before flying away.

No pics, but a deer wandering around under the nest area, and small birds feeding, all before noon.

Below freezing temps this morning!  MrN came to the nest briefly about 9:30, otherwise it's pretty quiet.
