(((Lani))) Holey Moley!  What a Year your week has been, for sure!!  :o  Strawberry Icebox Cake to the rescue!!  It looks and sounds delish, so I saved the recipe. Did you use the cheesecake or vanilla pudding flavor? It says it can be either a refrigerator cake, or a frozen cake - which way do you prefer it?  The lemon/blueberry version you mentioned sounds like a winner, too - with the lemon oreo cookies, too!

Lisa, oh no about ((Misty)) being sick. :-*   I'm so sorry.  I hope she is drinking water. Wonder what in the world... were there any new treats or foods that she tried that might have caused it possibly? I hope she recovers quickly. When my cat got extremely ill and wouldn't eat, I was able to handfeed him small spoon bites of human chicken baby food.  He didn't eat much, but he did lick it off the spoon, and my fingers, and so I was able to get very small amounts into him at a time, repeating every hour or two.  It took extreme patience, and he didn't eat it off the spoon at first, but I put a dab on his nose and "lips," and he licked it off, and then I was able to get him to lick more off the spoon, and off my fingers... worth a try. I would refrigerate the uneaten portion, and then reheat it just to room temp for the next feedings. I hope Misty gets well soon!  :-*

T40, "Both side now."  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D  I have shared that with my sisters.  :D

Clynn, I loved the pics of Talon and Bella!  :-* :-*  I'm so glad DH2 stayed in the nest, and the nest stayed in its tree, and the nest tree stayed up during the storm!!  Jerry's new house looks wonderful! I wonder why he decided to move.

NR, yay for the WF ospreys back!  :-*

TSK, those pancakes must have been so yummy after your E/C!  How is Lulu doing? Has she had any new escapades lately?

Hi to Karen, Phyl, E4E, Oldguy, BL, Puff, Tig, Lori, KB, Phyl, and ALL the BEAKERS!  :D

It's 'Caturday'!

Lani - Glad that things are settling down.   I know that Mike is normally a very calm and mild person just from all the things you have shared in the Beak over the years!  Very good that Aly has a nice boss and that he & his wife are trying to help her with her stuff.  Good that Mike sent an email to that terrible non-professional company - they need to make changes in how they treat their Customers.

Clynn - Thank you for sharing an update on Jerry!  Glad that his investing (I don't understand it) is working out well for him.  That is a very cute house that he will be moving into!
As you mentioned to Puff;  I too, remember E2/D1 squeeing from the nest - I will never forget her!
Yes - have always loved listening to the The Eagles and still love their music and listen to the 70's quite often! ;D
Happy to know DH2 is still in the nest;  that was a scary storm with terrible strong winds;  poor thing - listening to its squees. :(

Phyl - You will have your work cut out for you when and if the time comes for you to sell your Barbie collection! :o ::)
Delicious strawberry birthday cake for Shannon!

Karen - Nice that your sprinklers are set and watering for you!
I too wonder if E2/D1 has been raising her own little ones - I sure hope so, but mostly I wish we could all know if she is safe.

Puff - I had to click on the link for E2/D1 last day in nest; it brought out my emotions again. :'( :'( :'(  I always hope she is safe and flying free.

Lori - Love the birthday cake and puppies/pickup truck for Shannon!

Nr - Thanks for the Osprey pic!

LisaG - Hopefully Misty will start feeling better soon.  That was a good idea to make her some chicken & rice, although she didn't want it earlier, but maybe later on tonight.

Tig - Glad you & Camper had a good week! 8)

Tsk - Bet it feels good to be enjoying your Saturday  :)

OG - Beautiful cake for Shannon!

Hi Baz!

Have a good afternoon  :)

Lisa Nope stayed in doors. I am so sorry Misty isn't felling well. Poor mama. What did AC say about hydrations supplement? I did a quick check...https://www.bing.com/search?q=hydration+products+for+cats&qs=SSA&pq=best+supplement+for+hydration+in+cats&sc=10-37&cvid=384C10E8D5A7473681936254E615AC53&FORM=CHRDEF&sp=1&lq=0

BAZI   LULU:  Last night I was the 4 AM playground.  Chasing some toy on and off/around the bed for almost a half hour..  Unusual too is that for the first time she did not sleep with Tim - Not sure where she slept but I have added some fleece pieces to the top of the back cushions of a small blue sofa we have in the TV room as I noticed she likes sleeping there.  So to protect the furniture I added the fleece and she loves it!!  Also new piece of info.  Tim took her to get her nails cut on Wed and Tim wanted to learn how to do it so tech called in vet who promptly said " Oh a calico.  They are the worst cats ever to have their nails cut.  I have to anesthetize mine to do it!"  I said to Tim, he needs to take his cat to another vet tech.  Lulu is putty in their hands.  LOL They know what they can get away with with their owners.  Lulu for the most part does not like to be held.

TIG  Home and now back to "normal" life again.

CLYNN   Erin and Sidney should be on their way to Florida today and the munchkins at the other Gram and Gramp. Debbie also heading home to Florida.

God evening!   I had a great afternoon! Lunch on the screen porch watching 7 very young squirrels play race and chase around one end of the backyard.  Up on the fence and scampering along the ledge! Down and over to a big magnolia tree where they were chased by a pair of cardinals who are evidently nesting there!  Lol, what a Hoot they were. Had dinner out there as well but no sho!

Mama finch still on the nest!  I am concerned about the eggs.  Seems a long time!
Lisa, ho is Misty?  Baz, good advice!
Have a good night!

Karen  that does   sound like a great afternoon.   Re: Finches   https://www.bing.com/search?q=how+long+do+finches+sit+on+eggs&qs=SSA&pq=how+long+do+finches+brood&sc=10-25&cvid=893A92539F8F4E168F3FFE0691A71E17&FORM=CHRDEF&sp=1&lq=0
