Multiple gardens as well..this just south of Seattle Washington.

This is what I relate to: The woman says this is great for her body and her SOUL....

I concur..as does Ollie man....esp. not having to step on bees etc.

Tsk this was featured in today's Live Science newsletter. Thought you might enjoy it.
I'm gonna read it after dinner.

All butterflies evolved from ancient moths in North America 100 million years ago

Scientists have revealed how butterflies evolved and took over the world in a new tree of life.

KarenG  Nests seem to be having issues by me.  Found two laying on, lawn  3 days apart, under the crimson maple.  Wind must have blown them down.  Then kept finding twigs etc at the front door carpet under the door adornment.  Someone had tried making a nest in the hanging. But, there is a determined chickadee determined to use a nest box hanging from the garage overhang.

Kb  That's a whole other discussion/decision -- To garden or not to garden.

Yard & Garden = both good for the soul.

Good report from Lisa!  So where's mine?  I'll get back on later tonight.

PHYL  Thanks for the link to Peeps puffin link.  That's why we don't see her any more.  ;)   It's mind boggling to me how they figure out all of this past history.  I can't even grasp 1 million years much less more..

some bounce

We attended the St. Paul Saints game today, then changed shirts and headed a few towns away to attend Camper's granddaughter's high school celebration and induction into the Navy. That makes 2 girls and 2 boys in the Navy from that one family. Wow. The oldest got out last year and is in college. 2 are in Hawaii and 2 will be in Maryland for a while. Nice to have a sibling close by... even if they outrank you!

I had a healthy chicken salad on cranberry nut bread at the game. For supper, we stopped by a favorite Mexican restaurant and I had a margarita and I brought home half the yummy salad that had greens, green olives, avocado, H.B. egg, chicken tinga, chipotle dressing, bacon, roasted corn, cheddar cheese, queso fresco, pico de gallo, tortilla strips.

Arm looks better tonite.

So, do you really want the word?  Here goes:  The patient lived.

As expected the arthritis was at work on my right hip.  Years back did right knee and left knee so I knew the pain and knew the odds.  At this point doc says he doesn't prefer to jump right in with replacement without using medical means.  Ergo, we will try 2 or 3 injection procedures.  If they don' t keep me moving and my pain controlled then we do the replacement. Had the steroid shots for spinal arthritis a while back also, somewhere along the way the steroids worked; manageable pain most of the time there now.  Hope for the  same results with the hip, too.  But then there's the other hip to think about.
As my original ortho once pronounced  Our bodies were not meant to last this long, especially with what with what we put them through.

And, my favorite saying - Our medical system is expensive and screwy - but it's the best thing going on the planet.  In my travels and experiences around the globe I've had many opportunities to compare.

And, I have to repeat my funny of the whole experience. . .
When all finished I came home had a grilled cheese/Pepsi and went down for a nap.  I hadn't had a good sleep for a week.
Went to sleep about 5 - 5:30  and woke up at 7:30  this morning
