Good Morning Beakers!

Phyl, oh those sweet GSB babies! They will be making such noise when they are bigger! Mama Grackle's view, nice and green! Two Harbors, side by side. A big stretch at Decorah.  All looking good! The sun is a red dot on the Flyway! I also looked up those beautiful flowers you pictured and it came up as Gaillardia (also called Blanket Flower), Arizona Sun variety below:

https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=Gaillardia&form=HDRSC3&first=1

tsk, we are fellow Googlers!

Lani, I think my sister Becky has the tree identification app you spoke of, they are always hiking. Becky is the one who turned me on to Merlin and she also has a plant ID app, I'll have to ask her what she has. Hope you are getting rest and getting caught up as well! Hope all your furkids are doing well!

E4E, love that Good Night picture!

karen, I can't remember the first fast food we had as kids! There just wasn't much around back then. We got Pepsi in the glass bottles, but only on the weekends! The only eating out I remember is maybe at Stuckey's when we were traveling to Illinois from Arizona. Mostly we ate from the cooler!

Decorah Eagles - Karen L. Wall - A little plump around the center I must say. 😀

Time to get ready for Miss Bella!

Hi Tsk  your temps aren't  that bad.  ;)  Common dieffenbachia   is highly toxic and can be lethal  to cats (and humans) .    https://excitedcats.com/is-dieffenbachia-toxic-to-cats/  "Dieffenbachia is a common house plant favored by many because it is tolerant of shade, so can grow well in a houseplant collection. Plus, it comes in a good variety of appearances. While it is a popular houseplant, it is toxic to cats and can cause discomfort and pain if chewed. Symptoms include excessive salivation and, if your cat has chewed on the plant and shows symptoms, you should consult a vet, who will typically administer pain medication to reduce discomfort until the toxicity passes."
About 40 yrs a go, I destroyed one I had for Samantha's sake.
I wouldn't even keep it outdoors. Just imagine the horrorfing torment and death  it'd cause to wild life and strays.    Just saying is all.

Hi Clynn Bella Wednesdays is here  ;) I know y ou'll have loads of fun today.     You have lots of happy daisies and peonies this AM  Yep,  Gaillardia  has many names. Thanks. I doubt I'll be able to get them anywhere ,not available online, for the present anyway. Will have to visit Lowe's and Home Depot and local nurseries regularly I guess. They were easy to find last season.

{{{Lisa}}} I know next Monday seems light years away right now.

Hi Karen nice to see you this AM

Last night in Minnesota.

Yes, the smoke bothered my eyes last evening even with the house shut up and air on.....

Still looking hazy this morning...

Reminds me of a Doc visit for Scott I went to with him and he teasingly complained to the Doc I couldn't handle light on in the bedroom when trying to sleep....The Doc responded yes well she's accurate...look at the color of her eyes!...Doc told him!...Mine are blue, his are brown.

I may be more sensitive to the smoke than some?

Morning all.....taking Ollie man for his annual physical and heartworm injection later on.....so fun to drive with him, I'm kidding ;) ;)

Phyl - The lil cottonballs at GSB are getting big!  Yep, I agree....Monday can't come soon enough.

tsk - Like your morning flower greeting.

clynn - Have a great day with Bella.  Wow, that Blanket Flower is really pretty.  Thanks for posting my HM & HD pics yesterday.

karen - Still have a headache, plus didn't get good sleep, cause lil tabby kept getting out the pool a bazillion times.   ;D  They will start on real food next week.  This should be fun!

Good morning Beakers!
Morning Blschue, Lilbro, Lori, Clynn, Tsk, Lisa, Karen, Oldguy, Puff, Eagles, Kb, Tig, Baz, Phyl, Peep, Jaspurr, Pink, Jilltosa, BL, Eburg, Weasel, Ezee, Bggolden, T40, ssrl, Maxie, and All!

Tsk, I pray this is a better day for Jean and Dennis.

Tig, Enjoy!  ;D

{{{Lisa}}}, I pray once you get past Monday, you will feel better. And you'll pray the days with your furry gremlins will slow down.  :-*  I wonder if Misty will be upset when they are gone. I've never had mother cats or dogs before... I shouldn't put that burden of worry on you. Sorry  :-X.

Kb, beautiful red sun, but the reasons for it is sad... take care

Clynn, love DH2 pic, ready to take on the world!  ;D ... love today's posts... My fur family is well and glad that I am home.... enjoy your Bella Day!  ;D :-*

Karen, yes, Mike will return tomorrow afternoon.... how's the printer?

Phyl, thanks for nests updates... precious GSB babies and DH2  :-* .... red sun over Flyaway is the side effect of the wild fires in western Canada  :( ... I'm slowly getting into routine, lots to do, Aly's packing up, she'll be moving Memorial Weekend. I need to buy my Mother's Day flowers and fill pots.

overcast/cloudy - midday warming to 74

Phyl - Looks like those lovely flowers have been ID'd by OG as Gaillardia pulchella; Indian Blanketflower - very pretty!  Love all the cam pics  :)

Lani - Nice that you will be able to catch up on your chores on your own time and not be on a 'time frame'  :)

Kb - Terrible about the smoke affecting your eyes - wildfires are the worst. :o

Clynn - Have a fun day with your little Princess! ;D

Tig - Enjoy the drive today - always fun for a little getaway!

Lani - Thanks so much for Bearstudy - fantastic pictures!

I started my post much earlier, but then got sidetracked as I am preparing to have one of my old girlfriends over today!  She is actually a wonderful friend of both of ours, as Kris & I used to work at the same place with her.  I've known her since 1985!  We get together about every 2 or 3 months.  This girlfriend came and stayed here with Star several years ago when we went on a little trip. :)  She is one of my best friends. :)

Beakers have a good day  :)

Phyl - that is the app - I downloaded from the Play Store

Thanks loads OG  Hugs X2

I luv the Google Play Store.
I have some daisies that I'm trying to ID.
Ihad them last year in a planter just infront of the deck doors

There was a vinter not far from where we lived in Cali.   His wife had these all across the front the their 1.5 story ranch style at base of the front porch (6 steps up).
I fell in love with them as a little girl. And,m when the lady thinned them she called my mom---we drove down and picked them up.
I had them last year and some how lost the ID pick that came with them.
Haven't seen them so far this season. Hate to miss having them.

I think they're called 'Coreopsis'.

Phyl, so pretty for your garden! - they're not coreopsis, though - I grew several types of coreopsis where I used to live. I believe what you have is a type of Gaillardia (a relative of the sunflower!) - and they are drought resistant, so that's great, too. Here's a link and picture I found that appears similar to what you have...

Here's a link with some info about it from Missouri.edu extension site:
https://extension.missouri.edu/news/gaillardia-drought-tolerant-color-in-the-garden-2520

and a picture from that same site - looks like yours:)
