HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LISA!!  I hope you have a fun day with lots of treats and surprises!  :) I love that pic of Misty that Clynn posted from your FB. I hear this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkC9bCuahC8   Gotta be "Misty's Song."  ;) :D   :-* :-* :-* to Bandit, too!  :)

HAPPY CATURDAY, BEAKERS!  :)

I went to my fav Irish pub yesterday afternoon, and it was nice warm weather here, so I was hoping to enjoy a nice plate of corned beef and cabbage and root veggies in their open air dining space (I'm still not doing restaurant dining indoors).  They have a bang-up big St. Pat's celebration there every year, but I haven't been since before covid, so I was looking forward to it. They also put up a big dining tent next to their open air dining space, and they have live Irish music, and Irish Dance groups, I thought I went early enough to beat the biggest crush of people that go there every year to celebrate, but I was wrong-o! LOL! So... I bellied up to the bar between a couple of stools, had a big shot of Jameson irish Whiskey, full to the very tippy-top of the brim, and threw it back, and ahhh... ERIN GO BRAGH!!! LOL! - yep, that's what I yelled after it all went down,  ;D and then I ordered a pint of Guinness Extra Stout, shared a hearty "Slainte" to the raised glasses of each person next to me at the bar, and I went outside to enjoy my draught on the open air patio.  The crowd, wait, and line for the food, was too much, so I didn't eat there. But everyone was in a happy, celebratory, never-met-a-stranger frame of mind, so it was great fun while I was there.  :D  I did stop at the grocery store bakery for a fresh loaf of Lemon Blueberry Irish Soda Bread, which I enjoyed warrn at home with lots of butter!!  YUM! Had a couple slices of it this morning, toasted with butter and drizzled with honey - mmm, so good with hot coffee.  :)

Lani, I'm so glad Shannon heard from Mayo, and was able to sleep better. Hope y'all had fun in Pine, and I know the Cozy Burgers were a big hit with Mike! I'm watching the Duke game now... yep, you know I'm in a "Go Vols!" frame of mind!  ;D and hpoing my "Beat Duke" button is up to snuff today.  8)  Then I will watch the KU game. Love the upsets this time of year... ha ha... it puts the "Madness" in March Madness!!  ;) :D  I had picked Florida Atlantic as a possible Cinderella team this year, and then aded Fairleigh Dickinson to my list.. and wouldn't ya know... they both had their big 1st round upsets, and will play each other next! May the best Cinderella team win!  ;) :D

Clynn, thanks for bringing Lisa's FB pic of Misty to the Beak... sweet pic. I can't get over how old Talon looks!!  Love his big brotherly advice to Bella! Great pictures from their day there!  :-* :-*

Phyl, glad Maggie is doing better. Hope your appt goes well. I miss Zoey at GSB this year, but Newman is doing his best Springtime PEFA best with his lady visitors... surely, it's a version of "As the Nest Turns" there so far this nesting season!  ;) :D  Zippo is doing pretty well, all in all. The lifespan expectation for her species when healthy in captivity is 35 years, and she turned 35 this past January. She has cataracts, and doesn't see as much, so she sometimes misjudges where she's walking, oops! but she is hanging in there, and having some parrot fun and lots of snuggling and kiss-kisses every day.  ;) :D

Tig, I hear you about the crowds!

BL, I would love to go to Dublin. You got to do it right.  :D  When my then college-aged nephew and a friend, took their bicycles to Ireland and surrounds, years back, I hooked them up with my good native Dubliner friend, who had returned back to his Dublin hometown to live again from the U.S. then, and my Dublin friend put them up in his home and took them around to all the old Dublin sites and pubs and introduced them to some lasses. Oh yeah, a good time!  :D

E4E, I'm glad your mom felt good enough to enjoy a nice visit.

((Tsk)), so glad you had a good follow-up doc appt. Did you drive today? Sounds great that he gave you the reigns on activity level. Are there plans for additional PT maybe after your next follow-up appt?

Waving to All the Beakers! Stay safe and warm, All.  :)

Baz.... A perfect day for you. Yum. How wonderful for your nephew.  I had a nice walkabout in Dublin for a few days some years ago, then continued SW around the coast to Larne. I ferried to Cairnryan to continue my trip. Wonderful friendly folks.

Good Afternoon Beakers

Jeff and I headed out the door a lil before 11am to drive across the bridge to meet Bradley for my birthday lunch.  Kelly was attending her SIL's baby shower, so she didn't get to come.  I had been to this restaurant before, but it had been a while.  It is called Bubba's 33 - https://www.bubbas33.com/food/burgers.  It was really good.  On our way back home we got held up at the bridge, as another one of those cranes were heading out on it's way to Tampa.

tsk, tig, E4E, kb and baz - Thanks for the b-day wishes  :-*

Lani - Thanks for the b-day wishes, and for the tunes!  :-*  I was like tsk, had to sing along, and even got up and danced.

T40 - Thanks for the videos!

kb - Good job on getting the coat on Ollie, and for going on a walk. 24° with strong winds...BRRRR!

baz - The Lemon Blueberry Irish Soda Bread sounds delicious!

Hi Lorivery nice birhday greeting for Lisa. Out of  this world blueberry breakfast cake and with a cuppa hot coffee!
How's your Dad and Destini?

Clynn luv the hippy cats in the mod van; glad you like the Oriental kitties; you have Honey on your shoulder and I have Maggie in front to the monitor either way one just can't function---gotta love 'em. Luv the white kitty w/red lipstick smacks all over; cat's birthday LOL

Lisa just today Norai n IA posted  in GSB snaps of "Savana was happily eating a snack this morning and in came Newman." YEp! Lots of lil Newmans and Newmanettes.  So is Jeff taking you out for dinner this evening? Nothing like coffee and cats---every single day I have a cuppa with Maggie in my lap purring.

Tsk sweet 'Happy together."  ::)  ultra sound might have known.  Chilly temps for  y'all today. Chicago doesn't get the nickname 'the Windy City' for nothing

Lani two Mayos near by what a blessing.  Mother-daughter outings so nice.  Cute kittens on tile roof.

Kb awesome work those rescuers do. Ollie  and his coat  ;)

T40 Bradley Carey,  :(       Jim  too shall mention RRP and Deocrah eagles in my obit  ;)
Top funny cats, "Rockstar', mimicking  cat, LOL  Bonus  Harpys are awesome birds/eagles.  thanks for videos

Bazi Johnny Mathis - 'Misty ', I too think it's Misty's song to Bandit. Good choice  ;)
Nice memories for  your nephew on his visit to  Irelalnd;  sounds like you had  a good time at the pub. Yum Lemon Blueberry Irish Soda Bread warmed w/ my fave Irish butter...luv it. Years ago bro  Dan sent me an article on the health benefits  for the brain of unpasturized KerryGold Irish butter. I ran right out and found it a BOGO at Publix---bought several 'sets'
I was thinking Zippo was about that age--I've read that there's about 4.7 human years to one parrot year so Zippos is 164.5 years old.  That makes her the oldest Beaker pet with my Maggie coming in a second  age 21yrs . This April Mags wil be 100 human years on the 7th.  We both live with two little old ladies.  And, love them to no end.

Tig not too jazzed about large crowds  either

Lisa took  a peek at Bubba's menu---gosh ! Those burgers alone--I'd have to have  one bacon/cheese and one mushroom to take w/me.  Glad you got to spend time with Bradley---I bet he's excited about being a 'dad'.  That crane next to that tug boat  :o

T40   That cat was having none of the Raven's butt bites  LOL  Very interesting dynamics.  Those voice overs were good  LOL  That harpy is one masterful eagle.  :o   Clever bear.

KB    Bet that was a brisk walk today too.  Very blustery here.

BAZI   Glad you had a good time brief as it was .  Sometimes just nice to people watch.  Wish we had some of that lemon blueberry soda bread here.  You are a good mama to your senior feathered friend Zippo.   This particular surgeon orders no PT until after 6 weeks should I need it.  So we shall see in another 4 weeks how I am doing.   Spent a week in Ireland schlepping our 1974 no roller suitcases on planes, trains and automobiles  Galway to Dublin.  What an adventure for my friend and I in our early 20's.

LISA  I would have a hard time picking out which burger I would have.  How long was the bridge delay?  Is Kelly feeling good in her early pregnancy?

PHYL   Funny cat pair  LOL

Corned beef dinner done and Tim and Uncle should soon fall asleep in front of TV  LOL  Enough left for a take away for Uncle Jim and a couple sandwiches/meal for us tomorrow.
BAZI  If I lived next door I could have brought you a take away ;D

kb, 22 here and 21 MPH winds... Ollie REALLY had to go this time, no coat fuss!

T40, I have cracked up over and over... the raven trying to steal food! But who just opens a can of cat food and sets it out, those sharp edges could hurt! The cat getting the shot, sounded like a child!

tsk, I got a lot of lyrics wrong back in the old days! 'wrapped up like a douche, you know the runner in the night...'I hope in 6 weeks you don't need any PT!  It would be nice to fall asleep in the comfy chair after someone cooked a good dinner for you!

Lisa, I saw what you had for your birthday lunch on FB, looks mighty GOOD!

baz, sounds like you had a wonderful time last night, good for you! You are a wild woman on St. Patty's Day!

Phyl, cat picture time, how funny!

Lani, did you and Aly have a fun trip to Pine? I wish I could have gone with you!

Kb, the rescuers did an amazing job.

Tsk, we got to Pine just as the St Patrick's Parade had ended! Dogs were even dressed for the occasion. We should have taken pics! I love Abba!  ;D ... I hope you don't need PT after all this... sounds like the guys enjoyed dinner!  ;D We've got leftovers too.

Baz, A nice St Pat's day for you. LOL!. awww bless Zippo.... I've never seen Lemon Blueberry Irish Soda Bread available anywhere. I'd love it!  A fun time for your nephew. Aly spent some time in Dublin too. She stayed with a friend's family for a couple of weeks and had a great time.... UGH! KU lost!  :'(... I knew Arkansas was going to be tough! Oh well, a few hurt feelings and we'll be back watching tomorrow! GO FDU

T40, RxCKSTxR's videos very funny!

Lisa, it was nice you were able to spend some time with Bradley. Bubba has a great menu, Buffalo pizza sounds good! That crane is something else.

Clynn, great Cat Steven's pic, he's hardly aged. Aly and I had nice visit with antique shops owners. It was all about the weather,  ;D it was a gorgeous day, but it may snow again next week. They've already had a couple feet of snow this year.

Good night!
