Hello Beakers

Our Thursday snow fall was close to forecast at 4 inches - very wet and heavy, but has been rapidly disappearing.  Sat. snow was not close to forecast - radar showed rainfall for 3 hours with nothing getting to the ground in the afternoon.  Forecast was 3" then 2.2" then 1.1 of snow - finally got some snow from 7pm to 9pm - about 1/2 inch on the cars, but no accumulation on the streets. - By noon today - most everything was snowfree and dry, including the grass and decks...  Temps to slowly get back to the 50s for Wed. and Thurs. with rain on Thurs.

This video is from a company in the Salt Lake City area that has a large You-Tube channel.  They specialize in making and using custom large recovery equipment.  They do a lot of no charge recoveries - this video is about them getting a volunteer team together to help the  mountain residents in San Bernardino County.  A box of tissue may be required... ::)  as residents tell their story...

Here is a comment from him on this video that was posted 2 days ago..

David Saliby
Thank you Ryan for featuring this video on your channel. I am humbled by the kind comments on my trumpet playing. Wayne was so incredibly sweet and encouraging then and still is now.
I am grateful for the opportunity I had and realize how fortunate I was.
I am so blessed to now teach middle school band, orchestra, and jazz band where my goal is to motivate, inspire, and encourage my students just as many teachers did for me.
The power of music to positively impact  lives is incredible!

Thanks for all those nests updates folks!

Puff safe travels accross The Pond and beyond!

Lisa  a photo? if you do find Monsieur Pepe in the new B & B---I'll be waiting for that good loud scream. LOL

Oldguy some good news on your snowfall--many thanks for vids on San Berdue snowfall disaster--I used many kleenex. Good news for Juan and his aircraft Good Wayne Bergeron story
'Open Air Foot Bath' for the cats clearly Maru is more accustom to wet paws as he likes to dip his r.front in his drinking dish and lick the water off.  But, I wonder if Clar carries the cats back to the house once all the paws are clean--no point otherwise.
Clynn thanks for anwsering my question about how Karen is doing.   So happy she's up and using the walker. Also, how's your friend Kay these days?
I think the Black Eagles of Roodekrans nest started streaming on Apr 6, 2022 about the time I started watching.
From Black Eagle Project Roodekrans on FAce Book:  "Every morning Makatsa and Mahlori bring in a stick or two to both nests. They are still in deciding which one of the two nests to brood in, but in the end Makatsa has always laid her eggs in the new Nest she built. We’ll wait and see what happens this season. After this early morning Ritual, they both fly off to hunt. Photos kindly supplied by Naomi “Van Wyk” Corinaldi."

Tsk I was thinking the same about being on your feet too much too soon.   Glad you're seeing your doc this Friday and with a list.   ;)

Hi Bazi  too funny

Tig  hope you both arrived safely and  the burger and beer sounds good

Baz, blizzard survival.  ;D ;D ;D

Tig, enjoy your day.

Oldguy, you're right about needing tissue, what an amazing company and group of men to help clear roads, driveways, and give hope and life to this community. I think it was just a couple of weeks ago or so when you shared the video from there. Felt terrible for them. Thanks for Juan Brown video too. Aly told us, friends near that area say more rain possibly snow too may come. Miri looked cute up high on the tree. Funny to see Maru drinking water from his paw after his bath... beautiful songs from the Carolina Wren.... great job by this high school teacher and jazz band! The two young trumpet players are very good!  Awesome day for the kids to have Wayne Bergeron play with them.

Tsk, I hope you're feeling better  :-*

Phyl, RIP Robert Blake, I remember him in Our Little Gang.

Hi Everyone!

We are home now!  Got in at 1:30 this morning and then moved our clocks ahead an hour.  I just paged back a bunch of pages to read and try to catch up on things!  I intend to post a picture!

This has been a busy day with unpacking and laundry, and shopping for groceries.  My Mom is having a health issue - my sister took her to emergency yesterday.   Star is also having a health issue.

LisaG -  I think that is so wonderful that Misty has come into your house and will hopefully get along with Bandit in time.  ;D

All have a good night and thank you all for not forgetting about me! ;) :)

Good Morning Beakers

E4E - You sounds like you have alot on your plate this week with Mom & Star.  Hope all will be OK with both.   :-*

Lani - Love your lil cup of clovers in the good night pic.

Phyl - Cute lil St. Patrick lights in good night pic.  Oh, I am sure the trail cam will catch Monsieur Pepe' going in our out, if he decides to check it out.  Jeff still has the trail cam pointed at it, cause he wants to see if anyone is using it.  So far, no one has gone inside.  Aww, RIP Robert Blake  :(

tsk -Hmmm, that is a good thought about the feet swelling, but yes, bring your list of questions.

oldguy - Sounds like you made out pretty good with the snow.

I have two appointments today across the bridge, so I am going to be over there for a while.
Check back in later this evening.   :D
