This past Monday, Jim caught this critter in the peanut jar.
Is it Frank or Fedora?

A bird we've never seen in our area before.
Snapped this  the other day.
We welcome all wild birds.

When nature made the blue-bird she wished to propitiate both the sky and the earth, so she gave him the color of the one on his back and the hue of the other on his breast.

John Burroughs

Blue skies Smiling at me Nothing but blue skies Do I see Bluebirds Singing a song Nothing but bluebirds All day long

One of our resident
Bewick's wren  sporting either winter 'fat' or carrying a
'clutch' in progress.
Time to check nesting boxes #1 and #2.   ;)

I snapped this of our resident squirrel Frank yesterday morning. I know it's him as he's
the bravest  of the lot. And, like to get close to the sliding glass doors on the deck.
