Phyl, here is a pic of my juvie. It was hatched around 3 or 4 blocks from me. Fledging day you could hear mom yelling at the kid, it's time to go. Ever since that day he soars over the house every day. I finally got a pic.

A lot of eagles stay here all year round. We have open water where the Mississippi & St Croix Rivers meet. Fun to see them on the edge of ice.

You would love this one Phyl! I didn't get a pic-happened so fast. Yesterday a  little after 3 our time, in the street in front of our house came an adult eagle wings totally spread out about 5 inches off of the road & soaring down the street!! I hope it got one of our squirrels. ;D  I have never seen that in town happen. It was amazing.
