Some more background for Northern Channel Islands.  Shows nest locations, known pairs and banded eaglets for 2016

Maps in the attached captures below are of the Nothern Channel Islands (Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa) resizing to post caused cut off some of the sides but the site is referenced further down.)

Baby's Harbor - Santa Cruz Island ... A-68/male & A-27/female.
Cueva Valdez - Santa Cruz Island ... A-00/male & new female .. A-74. Nest failed
Fraser Point - Santa Cruz Island ... A-64/male & A-49/female. Did not nest due to Golden Eagle Intruder
Fry's Harbor - Santa Cruz Island ... A-46/male & Unbanded/female. Nest failed
Lopez Canyon - Santa Rosa Island ... A-69/male & A-43/female.
Los Pi?os Nest .. aka Willows - Santa Cruz Island ... Untagged/A-45?/male & A-51/female. ( May now be the Smugglers pair)
Malva Real .. aka Carl's Nest (was Grassland) - Santa Cruz Island ... Untagged/K-11?/male & A-35/female.  May have relocated
OC - Oak Canyon Nest - Anacapa Island ... A-21/male & A-11/female. Nest failed
PH - Pelican Harbor Nest - Santa Cruz Island ... K-10/male & K-26/female. Nest failed
SC - Sauces Canyon Nest - Santa Cruz Island ... A-40/male & A-48/female. 
Smuggler's Cove - Santa Cruz Island ... Unknown/male & A-51/female.
Trap Canyon .. aka Verde Nest - Santa Rosa Island ... A-08/male & A-22/female.

This is all  pulled from IWS "Class of 2016" report by Cumbrian  the Santa Cruz/ Santa Rosa  list of banded chicks outlined below.  I draw attention to the Baby's Harbour nest where A27, the former mate of A40 at Sauces successfully fledged 2 eaglets.  Complete info found here:

This was done just to show how re-population is progressing in the area.  It is a slow process and they work very hard as do all who are working in this kind of field.  Every success is watered by buckets of tears.
