Nest observation... been watching several feedings now & mom drops the food, picks it up & eats it. Kids aren't getting much at all. I wrote this in Hancock too so they are aware.

Just dropped by the nest to find a feed in progress.  Looks like the staging of an Alfred Hitchcock movie.  One of the mods says this is likely a seal umbilical cord and highly nutritious.  Eeeww.  These kids need a bath.
