MpMom, "what did you do to your head" pic!  Mom looks like she got a buzz cut that went wrong. LOL... I'm assuming it was just the wind playing havoc with her headfeathers? - at least I hope!  Thanks for your screen caps here today!  I love it when both parents are on the nest together with their "kid(s)."  :) :-* :-*

Hi MpMom!  Thanks for the pic today.  Is her left eye okay?  I don't know if it was just partially closed at the time of the screen cap - do you?  The left side of her head looks much the same as in your pic yesterday, which made me wonder... Do you think it's just a "messy" do from weather and eating prey, or is there something else going on there?  I'm going to assume she's fine, but I know you have been watching way more than me and probably know if it's just a passing "bad hair" look and nothing more.

Thanks, MpMom.  I was more concerned about if you thought it is an injury or not.  Her left eye looks normal in the pics you posted since I mentioned it earlier today, so hopefully that means there isn't any injury.
